I'm 5'7 and my goal weight is 145 then Ill go from there Im starting at 214 and Ive been on for a while just lost myself around the holidays. Now time to get my self moving again.

I use the number that I get off the elliptical not the number off of MFP. Its the same way with that like 140 cals diff.

when I started I could only do about 5 mins on the elliptical now Im up to 20 with an incline of 2. Lost 2 pant sizes, my work pants are falling off my *kitten*. I am only down 9 lbs so for me this is huge.:bigsmile:

I use the show to keep me moving on my weight loss. i know that prob sounds bad but i will watch it when I need a push to work out. I know that Im not going to step on the scale and see a 10 lbs weight loss but I want to lose one at least. Love the show for that reason.

with all the other things on my mind Im not going to figure out when is a good time to have a drink of water if its with me all day I drink it. I start on my way to work and drink till I am in bed. The way that I look at it as long as you get 8 or more glasses you are doing good.

I have the one mile that I did for a long time and lost about 15 lbs. Just last night I bought the four mile walk and so far I have done 1,2, and 3 have not gotten to the fourth but it came with a band to use for the last mile I was tired by the third was almost in a run by the end. Sorry to hear about your husband glad that he is home.I understand what you are saying about hosp food, I work in health care and as bad as it sounds most of us are over weight and we smoke. Not good I know.

Just took your advice and said that I would do 5 mins on the elliptictal got on and did 10 thats more than Ive been able to do scence getting it normaly I can do 5- 5.5 mins I was happy. Thank you.:happy:

To funny I do the same thing and one of my callanges to my self is if im going to watch TV i got to do a work out for half the show so during the biggest loser I get one hour in and when Jillian is yelling at the pepole on the show i think that she is yelling at me. :laugh:

I have heard the same amount but it does not seem that bad when i am 174lbs so i should drink 87 oz thats not that bad.:drinker:

I drink 2-3 liters a day and just count it as 8 or 9 depending on my mood that day. But i dont drink anything other than water all day long.

I dont know if I burn more fat when I do an early am workout or what but I do feel like my energy level is alot higher during the day. I get up about 45 mins early and do a 2 mile walk in 30 mins then a 15 min cool down. So maybe Im killing 2 birds with one stone by working out early.

I have been going back and forth between the 2 and 3 mile depending on how much time I have. I am not sure about the amout of weight that I have lost but I do know that my work out pants are getting a little big I have to pull them up every couple of mins. I plan on doing my inches tonight I will let you know the results.

I got reebox easy tones and the only time that i notice anything is when i were them for a couple of days in a row. you can feel a pull from your bum to your ankles. Im a nurse so im on my feet all day long at most I can were them 3 days in a row then to reg sneekers for a day.
