The only thing you need for weight loss is self-control, accountability and a positive mind. Not Hydroxycut. Here's my thoughts... first you must be consistent weighing proper portions and logging your food. Your diary shows inconsistency and too many times eating the wrong foods. I would recommend eating a more plant…

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I don't think your weight is an issue at all. You are exactly where you should be. Please reconsider your goals... I see you looking to lose 30 pounds which I think on a 5'6 frame would not look very healthy at all. Take care of your mind first and the rest…

With all due respect.... If you aren't happy with 7 lbs a month, I'd be more than happy to take them here. Really.... 7 lbs is an amazing loss especially at your weight! Have some patience. Most people never see that kind of loss in a month.

^^^^^^^^ THIS IS SOOO TRUE!!!!!

I manage cheat meals like this - Plan ahead! I will cut back on breakfast & lunch so I don't throw my intake over that much for the day. When you do have those things you love, realize that you don't need to have them ALL at once. I completely agree that you have to still be able to enjoy the things you love... in…

After looking at your diary: 1.) You having far too many processed foods/fast foods - Add more fruits and veggies. I often eat out too, but you can still make good choices and avoid any fried, fatty foods. 2.) You sodium level is probably helping you to retain lots of water. Most of this is from your processed foods. 3.)…

Bump... I am interested in the topic. I am a 5:2 fast dieter.
-
I too am currently doing the 5:2 fast diet. The plan says that you can eat 'whatever' you want on the non-fast days and two days a week eat a restricted intake of 500 for women and 600 for men. There are also tons of health benefits. I work the plan with the other 5 days of sensible, reduced calorie intake where I am still…

I don't have this issue but I know someone that does. They were recommended to start drinking George's Aloe Vera. I will tell you that it has had a vast improvement on their bowel issues. It takes just like water. It certainly beneficial for many other things too as Aloe Vera is an anti-inflammatory. I agree as well that I…

Since you did mention knee concerns, I would highly recommend sticking to the elliptical. Treadmills will be rough on your knee. Maybe try to alter your workout and do some HIT on the elliptical. I do that on my spin bike and burn a bunch! Good luck! Hope your knee gets better!

I also use this site which was recommended by many. I am glad I read this however, because I haven't subtracted the 500.... thanks for the insight. I also recommend using this site and just changing the numbers in MFP site. Good luck to you!
