Hi Laura, I am also starting back on MFP with a stone and a half to two stone to lose, I'm 5ft 3, 41, from Somerset and am also going away in August! I have joined the drop 20lb by 4th July group on here as motivation.

Hi, Absolutely, you wouldn't want wii fit without it, as most of the games use it - stepping, hula hooping, yoga, muscle exercises etc. It can also be used with other games such as EA Sports Active to ring the changes a bit. I use the balance board most days - good luck

Alpen light bars - the apple ones are 59 calories. Mixed fruit and nuts (high in calories but good for grazing). vegetable sticks and tzatziki (lower than the other dips). You can still go with your fruit, just maybe change which fruits you are going for, melon is low in calories, but I avoid grapes as I can eat far too…

Debenhams, they have a good stock, I bought one in the sale last week, half price £17 for both parts. They seemed to have more in store than on line. Figleaves on line has plenty to choose from too.

Somewhere I have read that strength training does not log as you do not know weights that are being used, intensity of reps etc so it is hard to calculate, but can all be logged through cardio.

You have come to the right place! I have only been doing this for 6 weeks, and it is the first time I have lost weight for 6 consecutive weeks, which considering I was a member of a slimming group for 3 years, is quite an achievement!

If you go into the section for your goals, you should see your calories change in there (your deficit should decrease if you lose weight). If you are at 1200 calories it won't decrease as that is the lowest set by MFP. You will also notice the calories you burn through exercise decrease too!

Might it helped if you swapped your snacks over, you can graze on the seeds therefore taking longer to eat, where as the yogurt has to be eaten pretty much in one hit. I had raspberries mid morning today instead of the afternoon and it seemed to work.

My cousin has wolff Parkinson white syndrome and was told to take it pretty easy until he had had the procedure (I guess the same as the one mentioned above), he is now fine and a canoe instructor so pretty active most of the time.

Wow! You are surrounded by cakes all day and you are managing to lose weight - that is really impressive. If you have a bad day or week, just try to forget it and try again tomorrow.
