Hello! You can friend me if you'd like! I'm 25, 5'6" and my original goal was to lose about 50 or so. I'm down almost 15 already over the past year, and I just started back up on MFP and going to the gym 6 days a week. I figured it was finally time to make a big change!

Many of us are on MFP because we refuse to continue being fat, and opt for a healthier lifestyle. Working out and eating right is the answer. 5 lbs a week is a little much, to be perfectly honest.. And definitely not healthy.

This, for sure. I noticed my weight fluctuates a lot during the day depending on food, water and working out.. So I only weigh myself first thing in the morning.

Not sure about canceling, but I go to World Gym and don't have a contract so I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult. Ours is running specials for pre-paid years and no contract month to month memberships. Maybe yours is too?

Finished up day 5 level 1 tonight, I'm going to try to get up early and do it before work from now on..I find myself way too exhausted at night to put 100% into it! I've been going to a spa for the past few days and sitting in the sauna then doing the Hydration station (steam bath), and working out after that is not fun…

When I did 30DS the first time around I hadn't worked out, or even done much of anything for a LONG time. Lol we say the same thing in my house, he actually cringes when he sees me getting ready to workout with any of her videos. He tried the shred once and couldnt make it through!

Totally agree with this! Stretch marks are a way to remember carrying a tiny life inside of you. They may fade, but will never go away, so love them for the memories! They may not be pretty, but they are a fact of life.

Ugh, I do.. He's naturally tiny, even when he hits the gym and ups his calories he never gets over 140. I think I outweigh him by about 35lbs now :( When we met we weighed exactly the same, but I guess I got a little comfy over 5 years lol

Awesome! I'm on day 5 of the shred :) hoping to work into doing ripped in 30 as well so two workouts daily. I tried p90x briefly and found that I enjoyed insanity a bit more. Congrats on the upcoming wedding!!! I'm getting married in November :) I lost twenty pounds last summer but slacked off during the holidays and gained almost ten back. How much are you trying to lose before your wedding? I'm shooting for 25-30lbs.. What are your plans for getting your perfect wedding body? :)

Day 2 of level 2 done!! I haven't changed my weight on MFP yet since it's not my weigh in day, but I checked this morning and I'm down almost 9 pounds!!!
