This is odd I guess, but I bought a shirt, that I really liked, too small on purpose. I put it on for my before picture. I hope as I move along it will become too big. Even really comfortable would make me happy!

I really hope there is a moment or two like that in my future! :o)

I have never been attracted to blonde hair or blue eyes. Brown hair, brown eyes HUBBA HUBBA!

I have to have a spoon too!

Hi Will, Your name caught my eye. I am back on MFP after loosing over 20 pounds this spring and putting most of it back on. I didn't have MFP friends before and am finding that it helps to have some. I would love to add you and your wife too! It is really nice to log in and see the support from your friends on here. Us…

I read this article a month or so ago and I think it was like 250 lbs compared to 120ish lbs. It is definately an eyeopener

The one that I have been unable to shake off was said right in front of me, to someone else, in reference to my husband. "He is used to being with the model type and look what he is with now. But he is so happy!" I was just sitting there like WTH?!? We had been together for 6 years and this person was dragging up his ex,…

The first day you friended me on MFP, it was after you read my story http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/ja4bs . You said you related because you were in a similar situation. Even if he is not using fists it sounds like he is definately using words, which can be so much worse. I may have some scars from my ex's beatings but…

A year ago today I was about 20 pounds heavier and smoked almost a pack of cigarettes a day. I couldn't walk very far without being embarrassed because I could hear my self huffing and puffing. I didn't begin my journey until Feb 15, 2011. That is the morning I smoked my very last cigarette. I'm glad for this topic…

Thank you. I was scared to write all that.

I'm going to twist it all up on the fat/muscle saga. I can promise you that my 200 pounds of fat is much HEAVIER than 200 pounds of muscle on my athletic 6'2" son. My knees hurt, my feet hurt, my back hurts and it is because fat is HEAVY!!! Don't tell me that muscle is heavier than fat (ARRRGGGHHH!) My body says different.…

Awwwww...that one made me feel good for you!! I love that kids are so honest at that age. Makes his words that much more special!!!

Thank you for sharing. Never thought about the snack size bags. Very helpful!

bump........ A bunch of peppers coming out of the garden too. Thanks for the idea!!!

Be careful though. My stomach/body doesn't like all the stuff I consider a "treat" anymore. A couple of weeks ago I decided to treat myself to a big helping of onion rings and ranch to dip them in. Within an hour my stomach was turing so violently I walked around for the afternoon feeling like I needed to hurl. Tried to…

bump .... because I'm curious what is out there too!!!

I am exactly where you are. I haven't told anyone either, except my husband. I asked him not to say anything because I don't want to hear all the comments and advice from the "know it alls" in our family. I am just shy of 20 pounds gone. I am able to put on a size smaller jeans. Yet, absolutely no one in my life except…

When it happens to me, I get a spoonful or two of peanut butter. Quick and easy and fills the calorie gap. I'm not sure if this is the "correct" thing to do but so far, it has worked for me.

I agree with you. Those scales do not take muscle mass into consideration at all! Most professional athletes are your height and taller and definately weigh more than 200 pounds.

Agreed...google The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. It will tell you about the swirling mass of trash between Cali and Hawaii that is twice the size of Texas. We are living in a trash can and most ppl don't even realize it
