A tablespoon is THREE teaspoons.

I would love to be able to afford a trainer.

Thanks for the responses! I currently do my whole body, about three times a week. And it takes a little over an hour. I have so many questions concerning strength training as I'm a total newb, but nobody to ask!

I wondered if somebody would bring this up! Just - WOW! Waaay more muscular than I want to acheive but the amount of work she'd have to but in is very impressive. I would love to see her food/workout plan.

I'll give it a go, thanks a lot guys!

Good idea! I need to cut down my workout time too! My boyfriend adviced me not to do strength/resistance training on the same day I run as the running will tear mucle so they need rest??

FANTASTIC. Great work, well done!

I'd start by upping your carbs...

Are you in America or the Uk? There are SO many amazing recipes on the internet that are incredibly easy to find. I'm vegan, which is obviously more restrictive, and even I manage to find plenty. I have a few I can share with you now... http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1364/spicy-root-and-lentil-casserole This is so, so…

I'm really worried about this. What do people mean by gradually? Is that like less than a lb a week? I'm confused by the word 'gradual'. I'm 22, and have about 60-70lbs to lose. I've always been larger, but have only been very big for about 1 year. I have a LOT of stretch marks on my belly, it looks like I've had a baby.…

This is amazing! Well done you!

Agree with above comment. If I weigh my food raw, I log it as raw, then add anything like cooking oils. If it's boiled or steamed I add nothing as water obviously has no calories! If you're using the cooked version you need to weigh it when it's cooked most things change weight after being cooked. For example, 100g of…

Hmmm, ok thanks. Think I might invest in a HRM, can you use if for different types of exercise?
-
I was thinking of uping it for the day, but did so well this week, didn't want to ruin the hard work!
-
I'd never thought about rinsing! Always asumed that was bad for my hair. I'll give it a try, thanks. Do you rinse the whole head or just around the face/scalp?
-
Thanks for the advice guys. I probably should have mentioned this earlier, but I'm vegan so can't use a lot of products and also try to avoid using things in my hair! I've tried wearing a head band but that really makes my hair look a mess afterward. Wasn't sure if a sweat band would help or hinder?

I find the concept of agreeing not to eat any concious being...except fish...very odd.

I try to do 420 minutes of exercise a week. I'm also not drinking alcohol for 21days and trying to cover 100 miles this month in running, walking and swimming. Need to do the waterthing too!

I'm vegan and trying to go low card. What are your carb goals for the day? I've been fiddling around with the percentages on here, but not sure what constitutes as 'low' for a vegan. I've heard, though, that a vegan version of the Atkins has the same weightloss speed without any of the health risks! But I imagine it's…

You're not a vegetarian then.

Thanks for posting this! I have dieted many times before and NEVER break the stone mark! I'm a week into my new diet and am yet to weigh myself so this is great inspiration!!

I quit after my third attempt. Because of each of the attempts the amount of cigs I smoked reduced. For example, I quit smoking for maybe a week, started again but kept it down to 5, quit again, restarted but only on three. Then I made the effort to reduce that to 2, then 1, then none. I still slip up from time to time,…

Thanks for the advice guys. I was thinking that perhaps I hadn't eaten enough today, as I'd only had a bowl of cereal before my run, but then I know people go before they've even had breakfast! I think signing up for a run is a great idea! I was also thinking of writing a list of the reasons I want to keep running and…

I became vegan in January and it's the best thing I ever did. When I read about the health benefits of a vege/vegan diet I didn't beleive it could all be true. But it is. My acne is gone, as is my insomnia, I have more energy (although admitedly this could be due to the lack of insomnia), my hair and nails are better, it's…

I'm vegan and I am no way sick looking. I went partially raw for a week - raw breakfast, lunch and snacks, then healthy vegan evening meal, and the weight dropped off.

I've just started this and have been doing on the days I can't get to the gym. I've ran three times and should go on to the 2nd week, but I did them Last Saturday, Friday and then today. Think I might do another week one before I move on!
