Just added you:) I need some more friends and motivation too! I was on here before as well and then got busy and made excuses, so now I weigh even more than when I first started, but I am determined that this time will be different!

When I get discouraged I like to remeber that I am closer to the goal then if I never even started. It is so easy to beat yourself up and then just fall into you old ways; then two months later you look and say "where would I have been if I hadn't given up last time?" I really wanted to get fit by May starting in January.…

That is definetly a victory for you and your closet:) WTG!

I have been wondering how to do spagetti squash... so when you scrape the inside of the squash with a fork that is all it takes to make the "noodles"?

chelleann, I read that was a myth. Other things I've read about redheads: redheads were once viewed as witches, redheads require more anesthesia, redheads feel more pain, and redheads have more sex....take that one blondes :) [/quote] I know:) I just think its funny. I can't believe no one has mentioned the red heads all…

I agree with this. Also not everyone uses MFP the same way. It is a tool to use how you see fit. I don't usually log my food here because I keep track of it in a notebook, and it just feels like more work to do that again on MFP. I use it to look up calories of foods, exercises, recipes and new info in the forums. So to…

Crockpot! This is a wonder! Just give yourself about ten minutes in the morning (maybe a few more or less) to put everything together in the pot, and let it cook while you are gone to work. Try the search feature for crockpot recipes there are some really awesome threads out there. Good luck:)

Great tips/advice! Thanks everyone for replying:) I hadn't even thought about bring my Ipod! Don't know what I was thinking! :)

Thanks:) There are personal trainers, and I have one free session with him, so I hope that helps. Tonight I think I am just going to "tour" the gym and get a fill for it and what all they offer as in classes and such, but I also want to get into some weight lifting which I think will be very interesting.

I did the 30DS and am about to go through it again. It really bothered my knees too. Some of the lunges I wouldn't do or would do slowly to make sure my form was right. I also tend to put my weight on my toes, so make sure your weight is on the heel not the toe (if you have that problem). Keep the butt out. And if all else…

Yep. I try to count my calories (I have too many cheat days lol), and I have been doing the 30 day shred and Turbo Jam.

I'm from Georgia too! Consistency works best. I am struggling to stay consistent on exercising and calorie counting, so I know without consistency it doesn't work. Good luck, and you can add me if you like:)
