So todays work out is... 25 minute run, 1 minute sprinting - 1 minute jogging! Interval running - best way to shed fat on your body. Strength training - 100 sit ups (various) and then bicep and tricep workout!

Thanks guys, I never did the full 10k until the day. Building up to the run I would only run as far as 8k but aim to do it in a good time. I did 6 solid weeks of training but reduced the amount I did a week prior to the run. It is a very fun challenge and you'll love the support you'll get on the day.

Was part of a gym but didn't renew my membership as I found training at home was a lot more intense and a lot less expensive. I have been told you can spin classes separate! Its probably something I need to look into. Virgin is a great gym though BUT ridiculous prices

I'm also starting pre season training but for my football season. Been out the game for 2 years and need to shed 3 stones... the journey has started. This should be fun. I'd like to wish you good luck with your training and i'm sure you'll hit your target!!
