  • Hi everyone...I am Carolyn, 44 and in basic good shape. I've been up and down on the scale, and in clothing sizes. BUT I am trying not to let the latest "pudge" from my winter slacker behavior get to me! I just feel dumpy, and my clothes were getting just a pinch tight again! TIME TO NIP IT IN THE BUD (or BUTT!) I've done…
  • Hi...I am into the 40's; I hit it hard going in, was in great form for a while and now am slacking off and DONT want to repeat what I went thru by the time I am going into the next decade. SO at 44 I am re-committing to doing things the healthy way. Feel free to add me too!

  • I love using the Plain fat free greek yogurt in smoothies...any combination I have thought of has been great and filling and refreshing!
  • You are right about the reverse push-ups...I have to find a sub for that, but good ol'regular pushups work too :) although the variations are what keep me interested in doing these workouts. I just did an old one I found in the BRtv "archives" (The O-Face wrkout!) and now taking my dog for a nice long walk before I go out…

  • I just finished my first BR w/o (the June 4th post) and I loved it...I used chairs and a body bar to help me do the reverse push ups, but ended up just doin pushups for two of the rounds, it was better cos the chairs not as hih as the dip station thing, and I didnt have so much room to do them ...but it was a good one! I…

  • OH How I know what you mean about having success and then getting a bit too comfortable! I am in that very same spot, and have just vowed to not let my results get overrun by laziness and the up-comming "treat" season :grumble: ! I have been eating right, and working out, but taking advantage of the fact that I can indulge…

  • Hi Everyone! I feel so much better tracking things again...I havent been 100 % at it yet, but I'm thinking more about what I am making to eat and what I am having to eat! As for my 6 hrs or work in the yard: we have an acre, and many trees...what I was focusing on was an area totally under tree cover that I havent cleared…
  • Finished up a beautiful weekend with 6 hrs of yard work...needless to say didnt take the long walk/jog (I'm a bit slow, but guessing that is what people are calling a "wog" these day?...if thats the latest term, I've been wogging for years : P !!!) • Thanks for the welcome, maybe this time I can stick to my accountability plan better. I have to "re-schedule" my workouts and tracking habits; and really work on recording the food intake too. So thats my goal for the first week, to try to get my tracking done daily. I am good about gettiing the exercise done, and as for…

  • Hi ellie...just one important thing to remember: DONT GIVE UP! Its not easy sticking to all the changes, and making them habbits. But you have "caught yourslef" and are willing to re-commit. THAT should be your focus. Yes, you are mad at yourslef, and that is what prompts the changes: if you didnt care, you would feel…
