I agree with you 110%... I have become "addicted" to lifting weights.. and my kids love that I do. I feel like a new me.. one I had lost many many years ago.. :drinker: to the new and permanent us!

When I first started I did things like body weight squats, body weight lunges, tricep dips using a chair, push ups, and leg raises.. They certainly worked for me and inspired me to keep at it while slowly adding weight for resistance...

I don't think its bad to use it as motivation... keep it decent and fun and you will be ok.. Try struting your stuff like a peacock for your wife and see if thats gets her attention! :laugh:

I do agree.. order does matter... a quick cardio session for warm up, then lift, then cardio to end the session.. I'm still working out the proper order myself.. Keep at it!
