26 mls and 172.5. This coming week will be a challenge since I will be out of town at the end of this week and most of the next. I may not be able to log in from where I am but I will see. Happy Walking gang!

3 miles down to finish my goal for the week but still going. I am so discourage because after walking 6 miles yesterday and also eating right the scale told me that I gained 2.5 lbs from yesterday. I just think I am trying too hard. I don't want to lose focus but I am.

4 miles in today just when I thought I wouldn't get much in. I went to visit my brother in-law in the hospital over 600 miles away (both ways) so you know that most of my time was spent on the road. I decided why not go for a walk during lunch time while hubby and brother in-law catch up. I brought my pedometer with me…

1 more mile to finish my day at 6 miles. Don't know if I will be able to get much in tomorrow because I will be out of town but I will have my pedometer and plan to hit the walking path every chance I get. I am loving this challenge. Happy walking/running gang.

5 miles down plus 20 minutes of strength training and still going. Let's see what the pedometer will say when I retire for the day.

I walked 39 miles this past week surpassing my 25 miles and I am down to 174.5 this morning. Yippie!!!!!!

Hi, This was a busy week for me but I managed to surpass my goal of 25 miles. I am happy to say that I walked a total of 39 miles this week but I did not weigh this morning. I will definitely have my weight in the morning. Happy walking to you and all my friends who are in the challenge.

Did 65 minutes of yoga and walked 5 miles on treadmill. I wonder if we can use the elipitcal as well to count as a walk/run.

Hi I would like to get in. I have been lax on entering my foods, but I do exercise 5-6 days/per week. I don't normally weigh every day but i can weigh tomorrow and let you know. I would like the #3.

The temperature has if anything gotten hotter. I think I will pay more attention to my heart rate because I do wear a monitor during every workout.

I drink a lot of water. I would say about 1 1/2 gallons/per day.

Thanks for your quick response. Yes I try to go by the number of calories burned and I usually burn 500 calories per workout. One thing that I have changed is that I am doing more strength training between cardio training.

I usually season it up with salt, black and red pepper and garlic powder. Then I cut up some onions and bell pepper in an aluminum pan covered with aluminum foil and just let bake on 375 degrees for about 2- 2 1/2 hours.

Try using crystal light with fruit in your smoothie with protein powder. Yummy
