  • Had 2 sections and went back to lifting 5 weeks post, with doc's clearance. Didn't do direct ab exercise until about 12 weeks post. Just take it easy - you dont want to tear your stitches, get injured and be out the gym for even longer!
  • It's been 9 years since I've had mine removed. Training and pretty active so no problems maintaining, or losing weight weight. I still do however have gut issues if I have a greasy meal. Natural fats like avocados are ok, but anything fried still sends me running to the bathroom at lightning speed.
  • always refreshing to see women lifting! post baby I did 5x5. worked wonders! goodluck and enjoy the lifting journey! seeing the weight numbers go up gets addictive!
  • It all depends on your goals and what you're trying to achieve. My goal is get strong and put on some muscle. I train (at the gym) 5 days a week - about 45 min weights and 10-15min brisk walk on the treadmill or elliptical. One rest day completely, and one day yoga/pilates.
  • Focus on eating healthy and getting fit, not on weight loss. I was back exercising 6 weeks after my c-section, but i took it very slow. Light cardio and very easy weights as I was breastfeeding also. I was watching my foods. It wasn't until about 6 months after I was able to train harder and lift heavier. Baby weight…
  • I've done it and finished the alpha and beta. It whipped me into shape very quickly and shed a few kg's too. was excellent for me - 25 mins was all the time i had to squeeze in a workout with a new baby :) give it a go - it's tough, but the results will definately come

  • I also use c4. it helps to get the one or two few more reps in - the reps that make all the difference. plus, if i didn't take pre-workout, i'll probably die while training at 5am!
  • hi there, i have one too and they are great! you can use the ft4 for swimming so im sure it will work doing aqua zumba. check out more info on their site here: http://www.polarworld.com.au/pages/can-polar-heart-rate-monitors-be-used-for-swimming
  • Wow, the changes are amazing. Well done!! Keep it up!
  • Thanks for the replies everyone. That's definitely a deal breaker for me - needing two hands to see the time would annoy me!
  • Hi there, I combined t25 with heavy lifting (6-8 rep range). I used t25 as my cardio. Good luck with it!
  • keep on going - its a hard and often slow process, but the results are definately worth it.
  • There is another thread on t25 which i posted in as well. I started beginning on September this year and I had awesome results. I dropped 2% body fat in the first three weeks of just doing alpha phase. But after that, I felt as though I had a little bit more in me at the end of the 25 minutes, so I decided to combine t25…

  • T25 is awesome. I recommend it. It's hard, intense cardio and it quickly whips you into shape. I started beginning of September this year. For the first 3 weeks of alpha, that's all I did and I dropped weight quickly. But after, I felt as though I had more in me at the end of 25 mins, so I decided to combine it with heavy…

  • I lift at 4am in the morning - and I find pre-workout helps me. Gives me the extra focus to get that one or two extra reps in. C4 worked well, though I found that I crashed come around 10am with it. I am currently using hemorage black - it's intense! And no crash. Just give it a go and see how you feel. Everyone is…
  • I started t25 early september this year and and here are my results from last week. I also did heavy weights after t25 every morning as I felt as though I still had more in me after finishing the 25 mins. I got through to mid-beta and then I've stopped. Focusing on more weights and resistance now.
  • i am in week 2 of the beta cycle, and after week 2 of alpha, I decided to do weights following t25. this is because I was generally very fit before starting t25, and i wanted to maintain my lean muscle mass while doing the extra cardio from t25. It's do-able. Im doing it, but I guess it just depends on what your goals are.…
  • I like fresh lemon juice.
  • Thanks for your reply. I have a scale which measures weight and bf%. I have been training for about 3 months now, and I have noticed I am getting stronger, and a little leaner in certain areas (by measurement). I use my HRM for my HITT and usually burn about 300cals per session - most of these calories I eat back, which…
  • I did it last year, but didn't finish. I stopped after 10 weeks - it was getting repetitive and the workouts were getting longer and longer. It was good though, i lost almost all my pregnancy weight! I am now doing Shaun T's Focus t25 - week 4 and lost 2 inches off the waist - and best of all, it's only 25 minutes!!
  • I'm currently doing Focus T25 - only 25 minutes a day and it's a killer workout. It's a beach body program by Shaun T. I'm in the 4th week and already dropped 1 inch off the waist and 2% body fat. It's great!
