Seems strange, but have you tried working out without shoes? I had a lot of pain in my feet when I did cross fit, elliptical and other things and kept taking my shoes off. I now have vibrams, ugly shoes, but works for me.

I know when I was doing it with my knee, instead of jumping jacks I would punch, jog in place, or something else. Punch and squat at the same time was what raised my heart rate up the most.

I don't know if this will help but I got a BodyMedia arm band thingy that Jillian has recommend. Her website now syncs with the BodyMedia website as well. Squats...and not a little squat, crazy behind pass your knees upper body upright squat. I do these in Crossfit. Not only did I get a better behind but my thighs are looking good. I could never get them to stop touching. Hope this helps.

There are many variations of Paleo. I do Paleo with dairy (Cottage Cheese or Yogurt) 2 times a week. My body craves it. And the 80/20, (you eat paleo 80%) As far as I can tell, it seems like many "diets" are similar. Lean meat, low carbs, plenty of veggies and fruit.
