Hello, I too have PCOS. Diagnosed 17 yrs ago. I started here in 2011, almost 2 yrs later, just didn't keep up with exercising and gained almost all of what I lost back. So I am back at it again. Slowly but surely. At least I know what works for my body. Add me too to those of you who would like more PCOS friends.

I had mine removed a year ago this May. Mine started as GERD and progressed. Sonogram images really looked nasty though. I am happy with my decision. Out patient procedure, I only took pain meds for 2.5 days. I had surgery on a Friday and was back to driving that Monday. Good luck.

I am 5' 3 3/4". I have PCOS so losing weight for me is reaaaaaally slow but I am still here and looking to lose additional 10 lbs for a mini goal. I have lost a little over 20 lbs and gained half of it back. Pls feel free to add me. I was 165-175 at my heaviest. I am not sure what the ideal weight is for me but I think my…

I am sorry for how you feel. Geez, I haven't posted in forums for months and here I am. But really, I met my husband online. Just randomly met him, not a dating site or a chat room for people looking for something. Just randomly through this IM thing back in the 90's. I may not be an expert about online relationships but I…

I first did this Aug of last year and lost my first 10 lbs. It was the only "workout" I did and just closely watched what I ate. I did measure, weighed and took pictures. Third day I can already see some inspiring changes around the belly area. I have too much loose skin from twin pregnancy. I started again this past…

Thanks for sharing. That is very inspiring.

I made this just like http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/07/sausage-stuffed-zucchini-boats.html but used tuna flakes instead and to mellow smell down added homemade pesto. Even my 5 yr old twins love them. They call them pizza boat. Works for me.

I am on the same boat. Stubborn last 10 -15.

Do you have a smartphone? Try searching for free workouts there's a lot out there. Bodyfitness app (android) has options for all exercises, upper, lower, core or stretching. And I'm sure there are other apps out there too.

You are heaven sent. And thanks for all the suggestions on other ways to prepare this. This will something the kids will enjoy too specially with warm weather coming in (or so I hope).

Same here including emails. Been married for almost 9 yrs, no snooping.

I use garlic powder in place of sodium for my stir fry veggies. I also use lots of onion and garlic when I make my own chicken stock.

Your story is too familiar. Hubby and I got married when I was 28. Waited 1 month shy of 3 yrs before we started trying (May 18, 2006, we had "the" talk and decided we were ready). I had my (only) B/G Twin-kies at 32.

OMG! I watched that movie by myself. And love every minute of it. The love interest is Colin Egglesfield. Ethan, the (heartbroken) friend is John Krasinski. I really wish they have that movie available on Netflix streaming, I really would love to watch it again....and again....

My BP is always on the healthy low range. Nothing alarming. The only time it went up was when I was almost due when I was pregnant with my twins. But my BP is something I can always be proud of. I guess I am one of those that are blessed with an efficient  Now my  is happy.

http://www.motleyhealth.com/fitness/20-minute-home-workout Do you have netflix instant view? You can add those free workout dvd's too. http://www.fitnessmagazine.com/workout/ On the left side of this website, there are specific exercises you can do. You can mix it up or they can generate one for you. It should be fun doing…

Kudos to your health.

I really really wish we have enough room to garden. But I will use up as much space this time to plant veggies. I love growing eggplants.

Good work!

I have seen gain 4-6 lbs in a day because of sodium. When I am aware I had too much sodium I drink lots of water right away. So that would be sodium and water weight all together. it will go away don't stress too much.

You are gor-ge-ous! Way to go!

This. And I make sure I use the machines in that one corner that had the fan on. I am not convinced that I look hot. Just me. I turn red (and my skin is already brown so that made it what? purple?) and I drip like crazy I have to make sure I have 2 hand towels with me.

Good valid question... now what? Now, I can handle stress better, I know how and where to channel my negative emotions. Now I know that there are better choices in life. And because I no longer have 'the" excuse, I feel like I can move mountains. Even those I mentioned is another set of challenges to face and…

That's an idea.. the beep. A'right hon, not in target zone.. it's beeping. And when it beeps again, you say: Whew! Your turn! This thread makes me laugh so hard. I know there was another post with the same question in the past. But yes, I am curious too.

If I wasn't feeling lazy tonight I would dig for my pregnancy pics. I have twins. They are almost 5 now. Anyway, pics were taken Jan 2011, close to 170lbs (this was not my heaviest) and after pic was taken 2/15/2012 @ 148.4 lbs. I still have a few more to go but I love what I am seeing. I am 36 y/o 5'4". Ladies, we are…

I was the exact same way when I got married. I was 28. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). I wasn't sure if was going to get pregnant...ever. But I had that fear, that worry. I talked to my husband and expressed my concerns. He understood. But he always tell me that things will always work out. I had to…
