Welcome Marikanna! IamIam2013 - CONGRATULATIONS on a streak of 100!! So happy for you. Truly inspirational. I, on the other hand, had another moment of weakness last night. The great thing about this challenge, though, is that I can put that behind me and keep striving to beat LNS. Being accountable to all of you is…

Had a little setback one night - just had to have some Coke to settle my stomach. Me: 7 LNS: 1 Disappointed I couldn't keep the streak going, but I'll be happy if I keep LNS to 1 . I'm rooting for the rest of you!! Keep your resolve and banish the LNS. Here's a thought for people who have late schedules or need a snack,…

Welcome to everyone new to this challenge! I have been doing this (admittedly more off than on) for a few years now and it works. I am a snacker 24/7 but this challenge makes me accountable and I stop the mindless binging at night. Now, I just have to address the rest of the day. Ugh! Me: 3 LNS: 0 Good Luck everyone. You…

Last night was a success. Even tho I started to feel hungry, I said NO to LNS and I feel SO much better today! I have to remember that. Good luck tonight everyone. Me: 1 LNS: 0

After more off than on....I'm back to try this again. 9:30 pm cut-off time; 11:30 pm for evenings out. Hopefully, I won't blow it tonight and I'll start Dec off right. Good luck everyone and thanks IamIam for keeping the challenge going!!

Hi everyone - I was going to wait til Nov to rejoin this challenge, but I have been gaining back the weight I lost so I need to get on board right now. I felt so good wearing my new figure-hugging dress for my son's wedding in Sept. and I just bought more new clothes last month since literally everything was falling off.…

Terri - Congrats again on your daughter's wedding!! Don't let up on the fight against LNS!! Our big day is coming up in 2 weeks and I know it will be a struggle not to open the floodgates after my son's wedding. I'm still having a hard time now even with the pressure of fitting into the clothes for that week-end. In fact,…

Congratulations TerriRichard on your daughter's wedding! It is such a special moment. Hope your daughter's wedding was the best day for all of you. I am frantically playing catch up with so many details for my son's upcoming wedding and other related events. Where has the time gone? Haven't even had a chance to get excited…

Thanks IamIam for the encouragement. Just to add to the conversation about late night snacking - having anything caloric after my cut-off time just opens the floodgates to unnecessary calories and unhealthy choices. I need the discipline of this challenge to put the brakes on mindless snacking. We are all just trying to…

Welcome to the newcomers!! This is a terrific challenge and it has helped me lose and keep weight off (with a little yo-yoing). Be realistic about your cut-off time and allow for a later time on week-ends or special occasions. And, once you've reached your cut-off time, stay out of the kitchen!! Me: 15 LNS: 0

Me: 13 LNS: 0 I did have to resort to using my late cut-off when we had company. I probably could have curbed the snacking while playing cards, but I did stop in time so I am still counting it as a victory.

Welcome to all the newcomers!! This is a great challenge. alfonsinarosi, you now have the swing of it. Keep it going. A couple things that help me with this challenge are: 1- Stay OUT of the kitchen after cut-off time!! (9:30 p.m. for me, except week-ends/special occasions, then it's 11:30 pm) 2- Floss and brush teeth…

I haven't logged in yet this month, but I have been doing the challenge. All I can say is that this challenge works! Thanks for keeping it going!! Me: 5 LNS: 0 Good luck everyone and stay strong this week-end!!

This is my very late final tally for July. Me: 29 LNS: 2 On to August.

I had to use my special event cut-off time last night, but I stuck to it. Was so wanting a real Coke after a delicious last minute Chinese dinner-birthday celebration for my daughter-in-law's mom at Nancy's Pig Heaven in NYC, but I saw the time and resisted. Me: 26 LNS: 1 Thank goodness for this challenge because I did…

Care 180 - I see you are still going strong with a perfect record. Congrats on sticking with the challenge and congratulations on your daughter's recent wedding!! It's such a special and joyous time. I was trying to keep up with you, but I had a little slip at Saturday night's wedding. So ... Me: 25 LNS: 1 I'm still…

Me: 23 LNS: 0 care180 - great job!! I see we are neck and neck. I hope I don't blow it this week-end. Tonight, I am at the wedding tasting dinner with my son, his fiancee and her parents. Our job is to eat and I plan on doing just that! Tomorrow night is a friend's daughter's wedding. I hope I remember to watch the clock…

Hi- Despite being away for the long week-end, I stuck to this challenge! Me: 6 LNS: 0 I just keep thinking about having to report here and it sours me on taking that needless bite or sip of something with calories after my cut-off time. I am so grateful for this challenge. Zaza

While I haven't been posting, I have been doing the challenge. I had a perfect record for the first half of June and then a couple long week-ends of guests/events/parties and it all went downhill and I never even logged onto mfp. Needless to say, it shows. But, I am back again and determined. This challenge helps me more…

Me: 17 LNS: 0 Thank goodness for this challenge. It is saving me from myself!

Me: 16 LNS: 0 Hanging in there. Zaza

Me: 11 LNS: 0 Thank goodness for this challenge. I have been VERY tempted on several occasions, but this challenge kept me from even a sip or nibble of anything caloric after 9:30 p.m. I'm happy to see some others who have not succumbed to LNS - a little friendly competition is also very motivating for me. ha ha

Me: 5 LNS: 0 Happy Anniversary Jeff! A good week-end to all.

Jeff, I, too, have had trouble with late night snacking. Here's a thought: 1- have a realistic cut- off time after dinner (I try to have 2 hours before bedtime) 2- allow yourself a small "treat" right before your cut-off time. 3 -Then leave the kitchen area permanently! Spend time flossing and brushing your teeth, maybe…

I haven't posted, but I've been doing the challenge since June 1, i.e. nothing caloric after 9:30 p.m. So far so good. Me: 3 LNS: 0 Good luck to all. This is a great challenge. Thanks IamIam for keeping it going!
