  • My measurements haven't changed at all. With the way I'm eating and exercising shouldn't I be losing in my measurements? Guess I'm just impatient...
  • First, thank you for the advice. I think I'll stick with what I'm doing for a little while longer and if that continues to not work I will definitely consider your method! I do keep track of my measurements and they haven't budged one bit. So obviously I haven't gained fat but I also am not losing it. Hopefully I will…
  • Thanks for the encouraging words! I do feel really good from eating so healthy. Definitely noticed a huge increase in energy and overall have been in a much better mood. I have only recently given up unnatural sugar and the first 3 or 4 days were really hard for me but after that first week...I don't crave sweets AT ALL.…
  • My total calorie intake is generally between 1600-1800 but I do burn off anywhere between 300-500 with exercise...so I net around 1300-1500. I am only 5'1 and I don't eat unnatural sugar, dairy, or wheat. I will change my diary settings so everyone can see. Heads up, today is my cheat day so it obviously won't look as…
  • Wow lots of feedback! Thanks everyone! Okay, so I was not wearing heavy clothing at all, leggings and a very light shirt and took my shoes off. The scale there has also always been the same as my scale at home...it is a digital scale as is mine. Also, I went to the doctor due to stomach problems and I can assure you I was…
  • Thanks everyone! You all were a big help!
  • I switch off and do cardio one day and strength training the next. I don't lift super heavy weights though due to back problems I have but am currently in the process of strengthening my back. I use 30-35 lbs for exercises using a machine. For my arms I use 5-8 lb free weights. So I do strength training 3-4 days a week.…
  • Thanks everyone! I always find it hard to eat them back because it's already difficult for to eat 1300-1400 calories. And I tend to have no appetite after I work out for some odd reason so I didn't want to force feed myself if it's not necessary. Thanks again for all the help!
  • I completely understand. People criticize me too for my diet. Here's what helps me a lot of the time. First is that when someone offers me some kind of baked good that I know will sabotage all my hard work I think "I don't WANT to eat that" instead of "I CAN'T eat that." But it's ok to treat yourself once in a while. The…
  • Forgot to add that I have also cut out all unnatural sugars.
  • Yessss I always have hardly any appetite after I workout and I have no idea why that is. But at least I'm not the only one!
  • When I was in middle school everyone thought I looked like Hilary Duff (from her Lizzie McGuire days) and now everyone tells me I look like Avril Lavigne.
  • I eat the same breakfast every single morning, rotate between a few different options for lunch and snacks, and then dinner I switch up frequently. I do find it much easier to track and I actually don't get bored. The reason I eat the same things are because I like them so much.
  • When people tell me I'm already skinny and that I'm crazy for eating so healthy. Just because I'm not overweight doesn't mean I'm healthy. I actually am a very healthy person but it still annoys me that they just assume that skinny = healthy. Shouldn't bother me but it does.
  • And I should be eating back all of my exercise calories or just half? (I wasn't eating them back before when I was eating 1200, super unhealthy I know.) I do take measurements also and my measurements have not budged...though my pants seem tighter. Makes no sense =/ I also invested in a Polar heart rate monitor watch which…
  • I always make sure to log my exercise. Thanks for the clarification!
  • So I should stick with eating 1300-1500 calories and workout? I was confused and thought that if i had increased my calories for a few weeks with little exercise and then dropped the calories down a little and exercised the amount I normally do (but switching up between cardio and weights, since I normally only do weights…
  • I have switched up pilates exercises so many times and it seems like it's not doing anything. I probably do need to incorporate more cardio so I can try that. Unfortunately, I tried incorporating cardio into my routine and ended up twisting my ankle so now I've got to rest for a little until it's not throbbing anymore.…
  • I generally do try to let myself have a cheat day usually on Sundays. But for me a cheat day is still only going a little over 1200 calories. Today I have laid out my food intake and am around 1500 calories. I still have half a days worth of food to go and I already feel so stuffed as if I have been eating Thanksgiving…
