foods high in fat/salt are things that pile the weight on me... most foods are okay in moderation though :) portion control is a big thing for me, i always weigh out my portions of food... Im by no means qualified to give advice... but fresh fruit, veg, lean meats are all great. Grilling foods rather than frying helps me.…

Please do not make food an issue for your kids... I wasnt allowed treak or treating, sweets, chocolate and my weight was monitored from the age of 7 even though i wasnt overweight back then.... they were so paranoid that I would become fat.... and look what happened-I did! Just go trick or treating for a little while...…

My mum and I didnt speak for 12 months, but it really made things difficult for my Nan (whom I absolutely adore) so now I talk to my mum but only for family meals with my Nan, I was always a Daddys girl, but he died when I was 16 and I lived with my lovely lovely Nan then... Im lucky, I dont see her very often... so Im just gonna leave it I think, it'll only cause a war if I tell her she was inconsiderate-she'll throw her toys out of the pram... sometimes I think shes the daughter and Im the mother! Im sorry to hear your Mum is so inconsiderate too! :(
