I want some of your almonds! Before I decided to get serious about this weight loss I used to pick the lowest calorie choice when logging foods, then I realized I was only trying to fool myself. Now I am much more honest/accurate about my calorie logging.

When I want a beer I have a Miller 64 or Bud Light 55, although I am a regular whisky drinker.

I got my first one on my 18th birthday in 1986. Back then most people didn't have them and I felt more than a bit rebellious getting it. Today they seem to be very mainstream and although I have gotten more tattoos over the years I don't get to feel like a rebel anymore.

When I'm on the treadmill in the hotel I watch Dexter or something similar on Netflix on my tablet.

Mine get logged through fitbit. I like that my walking gets logged because I do it to raise my heart rate, and I like seeing an accomplishment at the end of the day.

It looks like there is more than one 50-150 calorie snack per box. I'll let you know when my free one comes

I just ordered, thanks for the code, I hope you get something good for the referrals.

I also use baking soda and the 3-11 method. The 3-11 method is to bring the eggs/water to a boil, let boil for 3 minutes then take off heat, cover and let sit for 11 minutes. After the 11 minutes is up I cool the eggs fast with ice and water then peel.

I am a friend who would encourage and congratulate you, not sure about pushing.

I have to agree with the "clean eating" having little bearing on weight loss. I eat like total crap and have managed to keep pretty steady weight loss for the past 4-5 months. You need to ask yourself if you are being completely honest/accurate in recording your eating and exercise.

I cringe every time I hear someone ask about a "cleanse".

I immediately quit listening/reading when I see/hear the words "cleanse" or "detox(ify)"

I've been serious about MFP and exercise since about the first of the year and I dread exercise every time. My problem is dealing with the pain exercise causes me due to an injury I sustained while in the Army. I used to be a runner, I loved to run, but after three surgeries to rebuild my left foot the pain is almost…

I will be 46 years old in July and I would love to have more MFP friends my age. Feel free to send a friend request.

Most days I don't eat exercise calories but I have been known to go on a long, brisk walk so I can have some pizza!

Thanks for all the replies. I was more than a little shocked and disappointed when I saw my "bonus calories" were being taken back, but I think I'm ok now. I have my settings set to sedentary, and I will continue using the negative adjustment setting for a few days to see if I can learn to deal with it. If I can't mentally…

I do not log my exercise on MFP, I have been letting FitBit do that for me. If it's normal for FitBit to take back the calories it has credited me that certainly is a demotivator for me...

I'm also looking for friends since every one of my past friends no longer log on to MFP.

Since we moved to Florida and we bought a house I have put on about a pound a month. Time to get back on track and get healthier.

I love the North Carolina vinegar based sauces.

I am just finishing a bowl of my variation of this recipe for lunch. My variation, (if I may): I use 2 packages of the noodles I go with 1/2 sprouts and 1/2 snow peas I add celery I also add boneless, skinless chicken breast chunks (I'm a protein junkie). and for the sauce I use Sriracha sauce for the heat My wife and I…

I steep 7 black tea bags in 2 quarts of water then add 1/2 of one crystal light lemonade cup, (the kind that would make 2 quarts). It's awesome and sugar free.
