Ok-so tomorrow I'm going to make beef ribs-boneless...................... I don't know how to make them healthy though without all that BBQ sauce.... Any ideas for me?

Go with a Memphis style dry rub. I've made this one and liked it: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/patrick-and-gina-neely/memphis-style-hickory-smoked-beef-ribs-recipe/index.html
This one has less sugar: http://southernfood.about.com/od/bbqsaucemarinade/r/bl30418a.htm0 -

Agreed! Smoke/Cook your ribs without sauce with a dry rub. When you are eating them you can tear the meat off with your fingers and "lightly" dip it into sauce to get the taste of sauce.0 -
I love the North Carolina vinegar based sauces.0

One way I like to remove the fat is to boil them before putting them on the grill or in the oven...They are so tender boiled. I just use low fat BBQ sauce.0
