Great job! 11 lbs in 2 weeks is wonderful. Just keep on doing whAt you are doing and in time you'll get to where you want to be. It's not a race it's, a journey to a healthier you.

I go to goodwill and find "new" clothes in smaller sizes. It is so exciting to buy size 12, I haven't been a 12 in almost thirty years! Woot woot, by April I expect to be at goal and wearing a 10. My ultimate goal is a tattoo when I reach a healthy BMI and maintain.

Hi Jo - congrats on you progress. It is not east relearning old habits. I had RYN last April, I've lost 75 lbs since surgery and over 100 lbs from my starting weight. the first 2 months were the hardest, the last eight months flew by and the weight loss was pretty consistent. Now I am at a plateau and struggling to stay on…

Just tried the new cookies and cream. It was good and I loved that the texture was different than other quest bars. I love raspberry/white chocolate, peanut butter supreme, apple pie and banana nut muffin. Haven't tried the lemon pie yet.... I typically don't like lemon flavored stuff, but love lemons. I'd say I'm…

Welcome - this site is wonderful and my advice is to post every day, no matter what. You have a good attitude and the right idea. People who restrict foods often get frustrated and fall off the wagon. Slow and steady wins the race AND gives you time to build and maintain new healthier habits. Susan

All i want for Christmas is a healthy BMI. I think that's about 30 pounds, pretty agressive goal, but that's what I want!

My surgery is schedule for April also, so we can go on this journey together. Has your doctor / nutritionist recommended high protein foods for before and after surgery? I have been counting calories for months, but just started the pre-surgery diet this week. The food is tasty and very high in protein. There is a great…

I just got my approval letter in the mail today. Honestly I was expecting a denial! I have completed my six months and lost 13 pounds. The surgeons coordinator had told me before she submitted my paperwork to insurance that Dr. Might still make me wait because he wants all his patients down at least 20 lbs. I would be…
