push ups can be tough. I can only do about 10. When I started, I did one, then dropped the reps to my knees, or slant board. The next day, I think I did three and repeated the drill up to the point of 10. Come to think of it I should push on to do more. Thanks for the reminder. I hope you meet your goal.

look into local running club to see if there is a training group that may fit your needs. Some times we have invisible walls up, we don't realize they are there. But many times there is some one in the same area with the same problem. Also, I vaguely remember some thing about finding running partners through map my run,…

Kohadre, to build muscle you have to us resistance. I see you have a P90X logo. My understanding if you use that you will gain muscle. Eat lean, work out mean! Good luck to you!

Deep water running/jogging. You will need a belt but if you love running, you can keep those running muscles with out impact. I watched instructions on YouTube when I was injured and went to the highschools diving pit to "run". Swimming is an awesome sport. I bike almost everyday as means of transportation/fitness/fun!…

Good for you Eloise. I was bit by the running bug May 2009. Never ran before that, never. Have done 5ks, 10ks, 15ks, 1/2 marathons, 25ks and one marathon. Currently I am healing from my May summer marathon training and 25K run. Completed the 25k (bleeding feet and all), but have not been able to run so nix the marathon for…

"Stay away from diet or artificial" is my moto. Drinking water is tough to get use to if it is new to you. Drink it hot, drink it room temp, drink it cold and on the rocks. Try different tea (hot and cold), coffee (hot and cold), soy milk, coconut vanilla milk by Silk is yummy.

If you like hot cereal I had submitted a recipe for slow cooker hot cereal. It is real filling and makes 4 servings.

BRAVO! Welcome.

Please, sign me up with a team! Have no idea how to do this, so I will need some coaching. BUT Im in!

Honestly, If you want something you have to go for it. Don't wait until you feel you fill someone elses expectations. If you pass your audition you know it doesnt stop there, it is just the beginning. If you don't pass it this time, you are just working your way to your goal. Go for it - reach out and grab your…

Ed you are sweet! thanks for the message and back on ya!

Hi Peyton, having eating issues is so tough. We need to eat in order to survive, yet for some of us, food can be our enemy. You can add me if you wish.

Hey Velvet - You did something marvelous for yourself by choosing YOU over him. It seems like you have the knowledge just need the nudge. You can do it. It is one thought and action at a time. Remember we are on a journey. You can friend me if you want. I would be honored to have you. Enjoy your day!

there should be a conversion table in the first book, it is called something like "getting started". I don't have the info with me but I will try to remember to get the info to you when I get home.

I would bite! Not great at always coming up with answers but a question a day could grease the wheels.
-
Keep up the good work, everyone can see the amazing job you have done. Great work. You should be very proud of yourself.

Hi Nichole! Hopefully we all are on a long lovely journey. It is wonderful to have others along side as we go to help cheer us on, motivate and even kick us in gear if we need it. so count me in too!

You need to "shock" your metabolizm. How? well either add a few calories, take a rest from exercise, or do some core work ... just make a drastic change for a couple days, then go back to routine. Give it a try! but don't cut calories below daily required. make sure you are sleeping enough, getting enough fat, drinking…

Hey, sc1572, I agree, utilize the pool! swim or use an aqua jogging/running belt and run. It is suprising just how much of a work out this can be! Good luck.

celebrate!

lost a few toe nails myself. Relieve the pressure by drilling a hole in the nail. Sounds way to gross, I know. I didn't get to that point the nail just sort of lifted during a long run. BUT... you may have to check your shoes to avoid this from happening again. they are either too small ( need at least a thumbs width from…

just fill out the first few questions. This will set your data and goals. Everyday track what you eat and drink and your exercise. The computer calculates everything else for you.

Definately see a doctor. Also, consider intensity of your work out. Is it too difficult (obviously this is felt) drop the intensity a bit. Don't sell yourself short, put out what you can, but pay attention to your body - listen. Even if that means dropping the intensity for a couple rep's. You can pick it up again when you…
