I agree with many of the posters above that if you keep working at it, you will get there... Also, are these the same size 12 jeans from before? Remember that the fashion industry does change their cuts and also what a size 12 is actually considered.... it is never consistant... if only You will get there so don't worry!!

One thing that may be happening (as it did happen to me.. I will admit that)... is that I stayed the same in my eating patterns and exercise pattern. After doing the same things for months, my body probably just assumed it wasn't going to get anything different from me and stayed put. I was eating clean and I was…

cutting carbs and processed foods and most sugars (still having some fruit)... working out 5 days a week, at least an hour each day...

I am not a yogurt fan in general... but there are soy yogurts that to me taste just like regular yogurt.... hopefully that is something you can look into if you haven't already
-
I didn't read through all the comments so I am sorry in advance if this was already said... Take a look at the kind of sugars you are eating... the kind of carbs you are eating... Try to eliminate the bad ones and see how you feel? Cut out the whipped cream from your Starbucks coffee... try to cut out pasta and those carbs…

Don't make food the reason you are having fun. Eat smaller portions and pick healthier options. Suggest planning social events that are full of activity vs just sitting and eating. Workout a little more before heading out .

For me... I would tell myself that I could only have one every other day... and then it went down to only twice a weekend and then once a week and now I am pretty much off soda (maybe once a month). I had to gradually get it out of my mind that I wanted it. I will not buy any soda for my home so this way I am not reaching…

I feel off the wagon but promise that today I am back on track! Who will support me?!

I have a friend who thinks getting up any earlier than 9am is ridiculous... while my boyfriend and I both get up between 4 and 6 am daily. She probably thinks its stupid because obviously she didn't do it but she also is stupid for judging your lifestyle. I know its hard to ignore those people, but remember you are living…
-
I say... step up and speak up... I personally believe in being honest and truthful. If you find your friend's diary to be "off," offer them suggestions and tell them point blank that you are concerned and they need to look into what they are doing. They may or may not take your advice and they may not be to keen to talk to…

a pile of receipts... papercuts anyone?

is this an everyday occurrence or just today? If it was just today... your body won't go into starvation mode after one day of eating slightly less. Yes you want to get nutrition into your system, especially after a workout. If you find yourself never hungry after a workout and feel you "need" to eat, then carry around…

Your body is also adjusting to changes and some people may actually see a slight gain initially as your body adjusts to the new changes. Remember, its also about living healthier and better. Keep it up!

Oh will that also make me fly?

I love you for saying "who the f**k invented jeggings?" My boyfriend and I had this debate (more like my telling him its a stupid idea) as his sister thinks they are fabulous... It's just another excuse for people to not wear sensible jeans Though I will have to disagree and say that I do like some of the stretch jeans out…

ooh a flat course? now thats exciting :) Ill be there for the frederick for sure!! :) And the Bmore half... I think I am honestly doing these just for the medals :)

this all depends on your activity level, current weight, how much you want to lose weekly and what not.... 1700, for you, may be just enough... I am at 1300 and I know someone at 1500 and so on and so forth... you can also adjust it manually (custom goals) if you feel it is too much for you, though I personally do trust…

not trying to defend the trainers, but if you are being watched as to what you are eating and working your tails off 24/7 basically and need numbers to keep the show alive so to say... I would be openly disappointed too... its a show... its supposed to inspire but its also meant to draw you in so the numbers are big enough…

Chipotle isn't terrible and you are doing it right with asking for the brown rice and the bowl. If it fits within your calories and what not, go for it. If you are in need of less carbs, ask for less rice... I know that I can never finish the amount of rice they give me. Now I am in the mood for some chipotle... lol

This week is taking it easy and playing around with my new Garmin. Probably do some run / walk rounds... maybe hill training...and the elliptical to give my legs a bit of a "rest" from the intense running and training I have been putting them through. Knowing my luck, I will probably end up running instead but I know I…

Since I had my race this weekend, I only ran the 5k and nothing else. I am hoping for a longer run next weekend of 10 miles

I adore your rant! I had to say that first... My boyfriend was really confused when we got there around 5:45am and they were telling us to park at that lot next to the start line. Now I have to say it was awesome to park there, but clearly it was stated elsewhere that we would be parking in a garage. It would have been…

I adore Adelicia!!

The ignore feature does work but its hard when its multiple people do kind of the same thing to you and assume you are just pigging out and eating poorly. It is just the nature of the beast of online communities...
