Good to know...thanks; I think I might go snag it. It's on clearance (obviously).

They just opened a Trader Joe's here & I am a HUGE convert and fan. Here are some of our favorites: Olive oil & sea salt popcorn Roasted red pepper & tomato soup (so yummy) Frozen fruit (which I put in plain greek yogurt) -- love the berry blends, pineapple tidbits & mango chunks Frosted mini-gingerbread cookies aren't bad…

Even though I've lost 130 pounds, I still struggle with sweets. Recently (although this is very junior high like), I've started writing on my hand "worth it?" It makes me stop and think is what I'm eating worth the calories; or worth staying at the weight I am at; or worth, etc. So far, it has worked really well. It was…

Hemp seeds are the perfect balance between Omega 6 and Omega 3 fatty acids which are both essential amino acids (meaning your body can't produce them on its own). Seems to be the best choice.

Congratulations & keep up the good work!

I make a lot of soup especially in the fall & winter and I have gotten several excellent recipes from Cooking Light and eatingwell.com (awesome website; didn't like the magazine). Plus what is great is that all the recipes tell serving size and full nutritional content. I tried at least 12 different soups & all were very…

I started with an Air Dyne indoor stationary bike which I found on Craigslist for under $100 (in fact I just rode it). I bought a Specialized bike at a bike shop in March for outdoor rides. It's a hybrid and cost way more than I expected to spend but it has been well worth it. I got last year's model (similar to cars) and…

I only have the pics on my computer not on a website like photobucket, etc. Any ideas on that?

Almonds, mini pero peppers (they are sweet & 3 = 25 calories), sugar snap peas, hummus, 34 whole grain crispbreads (9 = 35 calories & tastes great with hummus), cheese sticks, organic peanut butter to eat with bananas.

10 natural almonds = 50 calories. I typically eat 10 almonds and an apple about an hour before I exercise and it holds me through 90 minutes of exercise. Great snack & excellent for you.

Drink a cup of skim milk

My grocery store carries Irene's all natural biscotti that are 20 - 25 calories per cookie. They come in a variety of flavors. The chocolate almond really hits the spot for me. I sometimes pair it with a glass of skim milk for a snack.

Lay on your back and bend your knees and rock your hips back & forth. On your back, pull one knee up to your chest and hold. Leg raises. On your stomach, push up with your arms and arch your back. These were recommended to me by my chiropractor.

I love my Air Dyne. Found it on Craigslist for $80.

Bike shorts might help (they have extra padding).

I ordered the vegetarian and used the bourgionne cooking stock...it was fine & filling.

I don't have an HRM, yet, but am considering it. The food scale has been invaluable and I use it daily. It has helped tremendously with portion control which was a big deal for me. I also don't log really minor things, but really am strict about everything else.

Captain Kangaroo (had dinner with him) Dennis Miller Edie Brickell Fran Lebowitz (satirist) I've heard several famous people speak, but haven't up front & in person met them including: Maya Angelou, Chris Matthews, Cornel West; among others.

Cheese stick or tuna in a pouch. Sometimes I meet some veggies with it as well.

Congratulations! You never know who you might inspire....keep up the good work!

Tuna in a pouch -- 80 calories.

Stair mill! It's the machine that is similar to an escalator...it keeps on going, up and you have to keep up with it. Very tough and I'm usually on it during some high intensity interval training...YIKES!

Weighed in today...down 1 more pound. Will have to find some good pics to post.

Congrats! I'm 10 weeks in and in my first workout I could barely ride 30 minutes on the stationary bike at Level 1 and it took me over 5:42 to go one mile. Yesterday I rode the bike for 50 minutes on Level 6 and did a 3:56 mile. It's such an awesome feeling of accomplishment!

I'd like to lose 25 by X-mas so I'm in too...Current weight is 272.4. This will also be my first challenge.

25 mins on the stationary bike; Level 5: 6.39 miles 30 mins of sled training (with my trainer) pushing 120 pounds. 25 more mins on the stationary bike; Level 5: 5.3 miles (legs were hurting a bit after the sled). Really tired, but feel really good!

That's great...looking forward to being there someday myself!
