You realise quickly you can get a buzz and your fix and feel how you wanna feel quicker on an empty tummy, so it's easier not to eat. I'm not too sure about always being skinny though, it'll still give alot of calories. I was an ok weight when I had a drinking problem and can't really say I cared too much about how I felt,…

Why do people actually have to be so rude? Just because you do things differently to others doesn't mean you need to be so sarcastic or speak down to them, they wouldn't make the thread if they knew and there is plenty of ways to say what you want too in a polite way. To OP, I wouldn't normally but if you are set to…

Why can't you hold your childs hand? Or watch where they are going? Tell them off if they run off? Why use a rein? You will not get very far in life or haven't if you can't handle other opinions on things. It's no different to breast feeding vs formula, dummy vs no dummy, co sleeping, controlled crying, walkers, feeding…

When I'm paying for something my son is in front of me so in front of my tummy between the till, it's just natural for me because I've always done it that way. A park is a secured area so sure I can have a conversation whilst watching mine or their kid. I'm still aware of what is going on around me, I'm watching the road…

Actually I'm in the UK and I don't think I have ever met anyone who agrees with reins, ever. That goes from parenting sites I use to friends with kids to meet a mummy groups..and I've only ever seen people use them a handful of times. So would love to know where you got the figures from for that?? & can you stop repeating…

I haven't ever used one. I do not agree with them. But we all parent different and it's up to you what you decide to do. It might be harder to control a toddler with a pushchair too in which case it may be needed. But if a parent is on there own with one kid I don't see why you would need them.

I don't really have any advice for you but congratulations and don't work yourself too hard, twins are very precious! Take care of yourself but be wise about the exercise :)

Hey, almost no one works out 7 days a week you can't do that for the rest of your life! Have a day or 2 off every week, or every other week, before you end up burning yourself out because that's when problems will arise. & don't feel guilty about going over, we all do occasionally. It's just the way it is!!

When you can't control it, when you start to make excuses to condone it, when it becomes something you think about alot of the time, when you know it's wrong & do it anyway, and so on. There is lots of different ways of addiction. What type of eating disorder are you worried about? You may be better off speaking to a doctor

If that is what you want too do go for it. Or you could just eat the cake and eat normally today still, it won't backtrack you or make you gain ect, you just might only lose .5lb or something this week, but you won't gain! If your still good during the day, drink plenty of water and such, a slice of cake and a miss of a…

Thanks for the replies I'd like it for cardio, exercise DVD's & such, I'm not a runner at all and also to see how many cals I burn in a day ect I searched the ft4 & ft7 and they both look good and not a bad price, doesn't seem to be much difference between the 2 though!

Pizza, chocolate, bacon and bread, beer. Easy! Depends how you want your calories, do you want them to be empty or have be some what good along the day? Bacon & eggs for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch or big serving of pasta, chocolate bar for a snack, kebab/indian/some form of takeaway for dinner with alcohol inbetween -…

10lb is nothing. I put almost 40 that I lost back on. Turn it around now before you end up in a bitter twisted diet all over again! (like me!!) I got much more work to do, and wish I stopped at 10lb, think about the time difference in working 10lb off as opposed to more. You can do it!!

Thank you for adds! Yep I'm in the UK. I don't drink squash, never found a taste that I liked really. Never strong enough for me! Turkey & chicken are my first loves when it comes to meat so that is no problem!! I hate yoghurt/cottage cheese, anything with a thick texture makes me feel ill! But there is defo some things…

No that is fantastic, it's along the lines of what I was thinking anyhow. But didn't know if people used tin tomatos or tomato puree ect, also wasn't sure if real chillies would be too much. I love hot and spicy food though so that is brilliant. Can you taste the garlic in the chilli when you use it too? I have most the…

Thanks for the reply! 2200 is easily done on crap, but must be quite a challenge on healthy food?? Can you give me some of your ideas for protein please?
-
Oooh, I like that your similar stats too me and you've had results. I've just updated my diary for now so I'll give the extra calories a shot and see what changes. I'll try drop the coke too and get some exercise in most days. Thank you!

Ok, so using 40 30 30 Does this sound about right 160g carbs 140g protein 53g fat That is if I was too up my calories too 1600. Which just still seems like an awful lot of calories! I'd imagine that was more of a maintain amount!!? Thanks again for the replies, it's always good to be more educated!

I tend to eat different things most days to be honest, meal wises. Snacks are usually the same old fruit and such. With sleep I get roughly 5-6 hours a night, bit longer on weekends. I'm never really tired on that amount of sleep but I do find myself wanting to eat more if I eat early? & With the water, I'm great till…

Thank you for the replies. Yes I usually always eat 1400 calories, occasionally I dip below but rarely and even then it's over 1200. When I over eat I don't tend to go over my maintenance calories anyway, so I don't understand why I'm gaining. Surely if I up it by another 250 calories, I'll put on even more? I know…

Just power through, drink diet or zero. Yes you will have headaches and you will be mega grouchy for 2-3 days then you'll start to feel better, after a week or so you'll proli prefer diet coke again. & yes you are right you will lose weight if you stop drinking it, just be sure you don't replace it with unhealthy stuff!!…

Hello. It's actually ok to go over your protein, MFP sets it very low. Ideally it's 1 protein for every pound you weigh (from what I've read) so concentrate more on the calories than anything. & In regards to extra calories, nuts are a good one, full fat cheese, full fat milk, avocados, bananas ect will get you there much…

Do you think that if you had a slice of pizza you would binge? Or would 1 piece be enough to satisfy your cravings? It's not nice to think maybe you won't ever be able to enjoy the bad food ever again because of bingeing. You see I try not to limit myself because when I do eventually give in and let myself get say a cake,…
