I should figure out how to blog or something besides keeping this thread going, maybe someone ca give some advice. I have been keeping up with walking and dieting. I also just got a reminder email that I haven't been here for awhile so did an update. I have hit another plateau at about 213-214, but am sure I will keep…

Got a reply back from the chain. "The lab we used made a mistake". HAH! Anyways they are correct a few things because i brought it up, so thats good. I will try to post the nutritional info he sent. Just in case it doesn't work though, it is 4.5 oz breast and 70mg cholesterol.

I tried to keep track of everything. Chicken skewers, just chicken and has a slightly sweet sauce on it, these were priced for 2 skewers, so my wife and I each had one, didn't seem to "bad" health-wise. "Perkedel Jagung", which was a corn fritter with rice and sort of a soy sauce or sweet/sour sauce, sort of an odd, oily…

Proud of ya  Took me 10 yrs more than you to figure it out. I've never been as addicted to sodas as you were though, for me, I was an "equal opportunity" addict, sort of on the infamous "seefood diet". My mom always had a weight problem and had diet soda around the house when I was growing up, so I've never had a…

Duh, the size of the breast is going by past experience, today I ordered it without the breast, but still curious as to why no cholesterol
-
Same cal count (126) as their grilled chicken sandwich, still listing zero cholesterol

My wife says it looked like a small breast, similar in size to what the chain would use in a chicken sandwich. She thinks that's exactly what it is is a sandwich breast they just cut up. I should go back to their site and see what they list for cholesterol in the sandwich, hmmmm.

It is Culvers, they are common here in the midwest. Here is a link to the nutrition info, if you go to the "salad" category, just look at any of the salads with chicken, which is most of them (there are some to the right of the dressings, just keep going over), they all list the chicken at "0" cholesterol. No it is not…

Oh one thing I wanted to mention on that chicken recipe, is that I found in the store "Butterball Everyday Turkey Breast Strips" which I am using in place of chicken, the calories are much lower than the cubed chicken product I have bought before (pays to check). It is a 6oz package, I am thinking this will be sufficient…

Thanks to all, I have some good ideas to use. The recipe for the chicken pita, for a quick lunch, is this: 1 1/2 c. cubed cooked chicken breast 1/2 c. shredded carrot 1/2 c. diced celery 1/3 c. seedless raisins 2 1/2 tbsp. plain low fat yogurt 2 tbsp. reduced calorie Italian dressing 2 (6 inch) whole wheat pita bread…

Thanks for the replies. I don't like yogurt all that much, not on my "hate" list. I have had some I like. Maybe I should think about it. But yes, important to be somewhat portable, which I never really explained. The reason is that I generally feel OK when I wake up, as far as not being super-hungry. I think I am better…

It's not a huge package of them, it's 4 or 6. And it's also just my wife and myself (she is in good shape). So thinking about my last thought, that I can grill them and we can eat them, but have to watch my other meals very closely that day. And again this would be enough for supper one night and leftovers the next, then…

Jagh09, thanks for the link, I couldn't even find this info on Subways own site! Had the small egg white sandwich this morning w/ham but no cheese and a few veggies and was good. hpsnickers1, I can appreciate what you are saying and I did look at that first link and can understand what they are saying. I guess it boils…
