  • 4'10" HW: 231lbs CW: 127lbs GW: 115lbs-119lbs Age 28 For my height, I should be no more than 119lbs according to BMI scale. My loose skin is driving me nuts though. And it's not cute to see a gut in size 3/4 jeans! SMH
  • Hebrew National...their 97% fat free beef hot dogs are 40 calories in 1...not saying these were the ones at the stand, but alot of stands here in DC use that brand and it's possible they could be selling healthy (minus all the sodium and other extra stuff!) hot dogs :)
  • Cookies N Cream is AMAZING! I drink it everyday! I use the chocolate and vanilla ones for making protein treats like cookies, pancakes, etc. Peanut Butter Chocolate is good also. Body Fortress is my fav protein!
  • I LOVE ALDI! I get majority of my groceries here. Quality is great and cost effective. They are owned by Trader Joe's.
  • sounds good! I just bought mine a couple weeks ago and I'm hooked! Do you count the calories for everything you put in there? I love the variety of stuff you put in them but I limit mine to only a few things b/c I'm so worried about the calories and sugar/carbs. I don't stay to full after drinking them so I'm always trying…
  • Body Fortress at Wal-Mart for $14.99 for the large tub... I think the taste is great. I don't feel like I'm drinking the "whey." The basic flavors are chocolate, vanilla and fruit punch. Certain stores will also carry the Cookies n Cream (which is my fav-I think it's amazing) and Peanut Butter Chocolate. You may also find…
  • THIS! You want a product that will completely blend and liquify whatevery you put in your smoothie...with no traces left behind. That is the best way to make sure you are consuming all the nutrients available. I ADORE my Nutribullet. In stores (Wal-Mart, Target, etc), it's $100 but I'm not sure if it comes with the big…
  • I believe there may be more sodium in turkey bacon. I use regular pork bacon, but I always get "center cut" pork bacon. It's less fat/calories. The brand I buy is from Aldi's...3 slices for 70 calories, 4 grams of fat and 7 grams of protein, 270 grams of sodium. The Oscar Myer name brand center cut at your local grocery…
  • I'm at work right now choking on tears from laughing! OMG LOL SMH
  • I'm with her...I HATE it! LOL
  • Waffles every day, multiple times a day! To skip a day, I'd think something were wrong??!!! I'd wonder if he had some body else's waffles! First thing in the wee hours of the morning, he always steals the waffles while I'm sleep though...such an animal! LOL
  • I'm down 93lbs and still eat bacon every day! :) i just use the lean center cut pork bacon-3 slices for 70 calories, 4 grams of fat, 0 carbs, 7 grams of protein, life doesn't get any better than that! LOL seriously
  • doesn't make "greek" yogurt tho...
  • Most people eat greek yogurt for the nutritional value-the protein is way highter than regular yogurt. It being thick is not the only difference and straining regular yogurt would not be a suitable substitute for the value of greek yogurt.
  • I totally concur! Eat it EVERYDAY!!!!!
  • It lasts a whole heck longer also...I don't drink milk quickly, so the fact that it lasts literally a month+ is great for me.
  • Plain greek yogurt with sugar free syrups, center cut lean pork bacon, tilapia, chicken breast, spinach. These are my main daily staples. It used to be McDonalds and Wendy's or friend chicken from somewhere...literally every day!
  • You had weight loss surgery? If so, how far out are you? I have tons of suggestions!
  • This can be sooooo easy and fun for you all! I had surgery almost a year ago. I'm down 93lbs. I cook for my fiance and just use healthier alternatives. He doesn't even like healthy foods so I just don't tell him what I use in what I cook him! LOL and He loves what I cook. My two favorite websites for bariatric/family…

  • I'm not a lapbander but I am a bariatric patient. I got sleeved in March 2012, down about 93lbs so far. I'd love to friend you. • This is soooo true! I realize that i will never be normal. I still consider myself a "fat girl" in my head. I will forever make concious decisions and an effort to choose the right things and in the appropriate quantity for my small tummy. Do you attend support groups or use online tools for bariatric patients? I mentioned…

  • i was gonna suggest the same exact thing. I LOVE this store; grew up eating their food in Chicago. Their produce/meats are very cheap and delicious. I also get my 0% plain FAGE greek yogurt there. They have all the necessities like eggs, cheese, bread, etc for very cheap prices and the quality is no less than name brands…
  • Also, my local Aldi's in Maryland/DC area sale their FAGE 0% Plain greek yogurt cartons for around $3.50 or so. There is 23grams of protein in 1 cup of their yogurt. (Any other grocery store will carry it too but may be a few cents more) Still a great/cheap protein option. Aldi's also sells their big bags of individually…
  • Wal-Mart sells Body Fortress whey protein powder-26 grams of protein in 1 scoop. I love this! They have several flavors but not all wal-marts carry each flavor. My favs are the Cookies and Cream and also Peanut Butter Chocolate. It's $14.99 for the big tub. I had weight loss surgery so part of my plan is daily is shakes,…
