I take b-complex for metabolism/energy. I get it from walgreens, they often have buy 1 get 1 specials.

I've read somewhere if sickness is from neck up, you can exercise (head cold, allergies, etc.) If from neck down (chest cold, bronchitis, tummy issues, etc) do not work out. I think you have to listen to your body, your body might need rest or a very easy workout like yoga or walking.

I started Monday as well! Feel free to add me! I also use the phone app with Pandora cardio station and was very surprised I haven't gotten bored or overwhelmed (my history of workout plans!) I don't have a scheduled 5k yet because I am pretty sure I'm going to repeat week 1 again!

Thanks for all of the feedback! This definitely gives me place to start! As I have over 75 pounds to lose the thought of running in front of someone is horrifying! Right now I run the perimeter of a 6ft privacy fence! (We are on about an acre).

I did a september challenge and all three of my boys (2 sons and husband) all were sick at some point or another so I gave up. when I was consistant, i lost like 6 pounds and 8 inches in the matter of about 2 1/2 weeks, so I can't wait to see what the full 30 days will bring! Count me in! Candy

I've noticed as long as you are eating over your BMR or 1200 calories, MFP doesn't yell at you with bold red letters. I'm not burning anywhere near what you are, but sometimes, I eat them and sometimes I don't.
