I also log it daily here and in libra. I like to see then trend because it helps me understand that even when I have a gain I can usually account the fluctuation to something else (water weight, pms etc) when I weighed weekly I couldn't tell what the issue was and freaked when after 7 days it was up two pounds.

OVERWHELMING yes, impossible no. you can do this! once you get started it gets easier and you build a data base of recipes and commonly eaten foods then it literally takes a few minutes each day. I have only ever found success with calorie counting. I have to preplan my day so I know where I have wiggle room if need be.

I'm in the cardio at the gym sucks camp. I would rather do anything than be stuck on dead ill or elliptical or what have you. I get my cardio from walking the dog, hiking and practicing taekwondo.

I recently watched a documentary on Netflix called food choices and he was on it. he's still fit but eats a normal plant based diet these days :)
