I only log food prep is I am at it for more than two hours and at times it can be most of my day depending on the situation, so yes I log it and I own it and I think its valid.

I ran my first 5k on Thanksgiving day, and it took me four days to get my hips to stop hurting. I am 55 pounds too heavy at this time. But I am just running a mile or two now, two to three times a week and its not so bad....keep trying you will find what works best for you.

You can do this! Please try hard now because the older you get the more damage you do and the harder it is to get moving.....trust me I know. If I could only take back the last ten years and do it over I would not have let myself get so out of control.....

Thanks for the post, I just ran my first 5k on Thursday it was amazing, it is still hard for me and in the running world it was an aweful time. But you know what I did it and I am going to continue on no matter how hard it is....So thanks for the info.

Won't ever give up my unsalted butter. It is one of the only things I refuse to switch out for something lower in calories. Therefore I log the total amount I use, but with this being said I try not to use as much.

You can do this!!!! My reward will be when I turn 50 in January...if I meet my goal of fitting into the size 14 Levis I have hanging on my mirror, I get to buy myself a great pair of heels from Cole Haan.
