I know when I was in the process of getting diagnosed I was driving myself crazy of thinking that everything I was feeling was a symptom. It is best not to try and do this. I was really lucky and diagnosed very early in the progression of the disease with only 4 lesions on my brain. Diagnosed after an MRI because of…

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, and so happy to hear of your engagement. Congratulations! It is a day at a time process. Death is hard. Planning a wedding is hard. Losing weight is hard. Just one day at a time. Make a plan. Be okay with what happens. Focus on the good. Remember her love. I wish you the absolute best of…

My fiance and I first starting talking on Chemistry.com. I had a free week and we e-mailed a few times as we were on each others top matches. After my free week I didn't continue on that site so we stopped talking. Cut to 3 months later we are on each others match.com top matches. We start e-mailing again and this time he…

I am so sorry for your loss. We put down our family dog Paws (half aussie, half chow) in 2008. He was with us for 12 years. Take comfort in knowing your faithful companion is not in pain and is patiently waiting for you to play with him again on the other side. I am sorry you and your family are going through this…

Migraines got worse but are now better. Either I have finally ended this cycle or the various different meds are actually working. Hopefully I will continue to see headache free days!

I just started copaxone on Friday, three injections down! The nurse that came out was absolutely wonderful and did a great job teaching me how to inject and where. There are 7 regions and then multiple zones within each region for the injections. So far I have done both top thighs and my stomach. The needle didn't hurt,…

I got the mirena placed about 3 weeks ago, and I have not had any children previously. I will admit, placement hurt. But I was still able to drive to work afterwards. Granted, I didn't stay at work all day because the pain was just too much. But after that initial first day the pain greatly subsided. There was spotting for…

I am overweight and I am also doing the C25K program at my gym on the treadmill. Everytime I go for my run sequence I feel incredibly proud of myself for doing it. I am freaking DOING IT. I started the C25K before at the same gym and was able to do a slow jog at 4.2MPH and now that I have started it again I am going at…
