I try to eat more protein and nutrient dense foods. Also, I like to snack on nuts. Just about a tablespoon or two and a glass of water seems to help take the edge off the hunger and it seems to last a little longer than a piece of fruit.

I have also noticed the same thing. AND if my scale is cold it seems to weigh me higher than after the bathroom has warmed up from showers or just warming up later in the day. Can be as much as 2 pounds. So I just make sure the room temp is about the same each time I weigh.

Just don't give up, it will start coming off if you truly log everything and stick to your goal. First big weight loss was probably mostly water. Now your body should be "normalizing" and the weight loss should be slow, steady downward. Just be patient. You will get there.

For me, if I eat a little really good dark chocolate (like Black & Green's Organic Dark Choc), that satisfies my sweet tooth. I also love sweets, but as long as I stay away from processed foods, I can keep my sweet tooth at bay. I do follow the suggested calories and I have found that it really helps. I do log EVERYTHING.…

I used to have a problem with not going daily. I feel better if I go daily and so I use MagO7 at night. I get it at the health food store. I find that I do need to take 2 at night before bedtime. Since I am cutting carbs more than fat, I like to take 2 slices of oven broiled bacon and tomato slices wrapped in an outer romaine lettuce leaf. It tastes good and the protien and fat keep me going longer than oatmeal.

I have also found MFP to be helpful in the mindless snacking. If I have to record it in my diary, I ask myself if I NEED it or just want it. If I am hungry, then taking the time to record is worth it. But if I am just wanting to eat something, then it is hardly worth my effort to record it. And, you are correct, keeping…
