Count me in, too. The last three months of last year were bad for consuming... I need this! Moderation!

Take it 5 lbs at a time, and one day at a time, and you'll get there! I'm in maintenance and log every day, and weigh every day. It's going to have to be that way forever, just like putting on clothes or showering for me. We can't fix what we don't know is broken.

I lost my big furbaby a year ago. He was an 18 year old big black cat that had been through more with me than most people I know, and was always there. (Many nights he went to sleep with me with tear stained, wet fur). He was put to sleep in our home after a tumor that got so big he couldn't eat. It was the hardest thing…

I'm in the 1200 - 1400 range, although I just upped my goal to 1400 since I'm 5 lbs away from maintenance. With exercise I usually get about 1500 - 1600 calories, but I don't always eat my net back.
-
I try to make it within my calorie goal, even if I have work harder that day. If I don't or I imbibe too much, I just log it and move on. Tomorrow is another day, and letting it get me down only hurts my overall goal.

Darth Vader is my all time favorite character. All of him, the whiny brat, they moody ANH guy, and the testy ESB guy. I love him. Also, I ate a WHOLE 500 calorie cookie at the Grizzlies game last night. I'm not sorry.

First post! I'm at the finish line and seem to be slumping. Just for today I will: 1) Drink only one cup of coffee 2) Stay within my calorie goal 3) Go to my yoga class and quit schlepping off...

In! I'm 8 lbs away from goal, and 10 would give me wiggle room. Have a physical on April 24th. Would love to go in at my goal weight!

I do a first pass with the high protein stuff that I know will fill me up, like meats, cheeses and keep it to a small sample like a teaspoon full/ couple of slices, etc. I will add veggie tray items, etc and then stop. I was at a brunch this past Sunday and managed to keep it under calorie goal like that. I try to keep…

Two nights ago, I had one 100 calorie cookie, then another, then...another. :\ Until I didn't have calories left for dinner! :p

Awesome milestone, congrats!!!

I'm shorter, at 5'1" and have lost close to 100 lbs this year. But at 133 - 135, still at 1200 calories... my body seems to be done. I know I can shock my system and lose the last 15 lbs, but I hope that I don't have to do that to maintain 120... I'm hoping with the better weather and more activity, I can kick the last 10…

I love mine. I'm not a super runner geek or anything so the HR monitor has been great for me and lines up with the treadmill at the gym and my Polar Chest strap, so far. Fitbit dashboard gives me less calories and forgiveness than MFP, so I try to go by that. For example, Fitbit says to lose 1 lb a week, you should…

It took me a while to get used to the taffy-like consistency of them, but I've come to like the coconut cashew and the lemon pie, especially. If you microwave, take them out of the package first! (I learned the hard way, lol). The chocolate chunk microwaved for about 10 seconds does taste a lot like a real cookie.

I think it's a lot of things, different for different people for the most part. As far as Western society, we have a lot of food, generally speaking. And restaurants. And restaurants that serve a lot of food. We have families that deal with things with food, both celebratory and comforting. And on and on. It's all how we…

Never buy the peanut butter pop-tarts. You will eat the whole box... OMG they are so good.

Being healthy and, oh okay... clothes. Who am I kidding? And shoes. Even jewelry looks better when you're fit.

I keep a size up for TOM and anytime I want looser fitting pants, but I love to shop and dress fairly trendy... I love clothes. I've lost and gained back before, but I hope I've made logging a habit. I log all my food and weight daily, and I have been for close to a year, and hope to keep that up. I think it's one of the…

Had a One for two years and an Ultra a year before than, so longtime step geek here! Have had my Charge HR for about a month now, and love it!!! The heart rate monitor really helps with active minutes and sleep tracking! My profile : www.fitbit.com/user/22XQMB I love challenges! :)

I have to hide the peanut butter in the back of the pantry, or make the sandwich and not eat a spoonful first... once I eat one spoonful, I just can't stop. :(
-
I've lost more weight in my 40's than I ever did in my thirties, but I'm armed with knowledge and a fitbit now. I log, I walk and run, and I keep up with what my BMR is... I'm 5'1", and I've just got to come to terms with a low calories metabolism. Also, strength training as we get older gets WAY more important.

I ate three (not even half) pieces of a flatbread pizza with pepperoni and sausage yesterday that was 618 calories. And Newk's salads. :( Over 1000 calories as well.

I will not give up my half and half. I've gotten the fat free half and half, and will use it occasionally, since it's not high in sugar, but for the most part, I'd rather just save calories elsewhere. I also eat butter, full fat dressings and cheeses because I try to just watch my portions and a little goes a long way.…

There are some at Red Robin that top out at over 2000 calories... burgers that I used to eat, along with the "endless" fries.

I have a Charge HR, and when I've got long periods that I have to sit at my desk (although it's at the office), especially if I'm on a Webex, I do side steps and "clap" my hands or wrists together. It gets my HR up and also counts as steps (but it doesn't let you cheat, you have to do some pretty good side steps and move…

Ask him what the hell he's doing at the gym, wasn't he supposed to be mowing the lawn and cleaning the gutters? He doesn't have time to work that fat *kitten* off, he's got lawnwork to do.

These dressings are absolutely disgusting. After tasting you won't want anything to eat because the flavor left in your mouth DOES NOT GO AWAY... :s

I try to stick to under 75 - 100 carbs a day, so not low, low, but more restricted. I find I need more when I work out, of course. As long as it's not too many sweets or refined grains, I tend to do okay and keep it under that. I'm one of those that is predisposed to metabolic syndrome, so if I eat too many carbs, my blood…

I try to stay under 300 calories and eat about four to five meals a day. Mostly protein, fruit and veggies. I'll have my Starbucks Venti Skinny SF latte for breakfast, it's got 12 grams of protein, and I don't feel bad about it at all... :P That's 120 calories that I've decided to keep, and give up something else. I'm 5'1"…

Just got my new Charge HR! I've been a One owner for 2 years, before that, I had an Ultra. Love Fitbit!! The Charge HR's heart monitor function is proving really useful.
