How long does it take to get used to lower calories?

Flavoured water
98% of the water I drink everyday is flavoured with something, wether it be coffee, tea, lemon, cucumber, or sugar free concentrated flavouring. My mom tells me water stops serving it's purpose of flushing out your system if you add anything to it. Is that true? If it is, how come I still pee so much ??

I can't keep sweets in the house...
They bother me and whisper to me until I eat the whole container of whatever it is. In this case chocolate truffles. I had a container of 12 and just ate all of them. Guess I'll have my "cheat" day today then in place of tomorrow... eh. :smiley:

Netted 500-600 calories -- worried
Will I lose a terrible amount of muscle if I'm sick and kind of uhm... (ok don't have a heart attack) netted only 500-600 calories the entire week? I'm in the middle of a cutting cycle but I admit I netted way below even half my normal calories. When I'm sick, I have no appetite. At all.

Will it hurt my progress (of building muscle) if I have one day a week where I don't care about my macros and eat what I want (still in my calorie goals)?

Carbonated water
I usually add some zero calorie flavouring to carbonated water (I use an old fashioned soda-stream) and I drink that instead of still water, almost all day, every day. I love the fizzyness. Is it bad for your body in any way to drink carbonated water instead of normal water?

I've been advised to snack
My personal trainer suggested that I eat a snack between meals, but I know (and have seen) what that does to me. As soon as I start snacking, I want to snack...and snack....and snack....so snacking leads to more snacking. And then boom. Calories gone.
