A little trick to get more protein in at breakfast

In my stryggle to try and get enough protein in, I discovered this little tweak. It's probably not new or anything, but it is new to me and I thought I would share it.
I really like cereal. Any cereal. The funny kiddies cereal, oats, any breakfast cereal. But they don't give a whole lot of protein, so I started adding a scoop of vanilla whey to them, mixed with water (or milk if you prefer).
Essentially I'm using the vanilla whey in place of milk. Gives a good protein boost to them so I'm not hungry again 15 minutes after eating them and if mixed with water it's lower in calories than milk too.

Great idea. But watch your sugar count from the cereal.0

Yeah, I don't mind sugar too much. However most of the cereals I eat are not too high in it anyway. They are high in carbs, but I need them otherwise I don't get through my workout, which is why I started eating it in the first place. I just had a problem with being hungry again so shortly after eating them.0

Not necessary unless she has an underlying medical condition.0 -
Yeah!
My go to at the moment is porridge with a scoop of millionaire's shortbread or chocolate peanut cookie protein powder.
Also, this....

Most days I make a breakfast smoothie using 1 cup of homemade kefir, I think thats 8 grams protein. If I feel I need more for the protein goals of the day, or if I worked out hard the previous day, I'll add liquid egg whites to the smoothie. I'm a bit lactose intolerant so I can't do whey. The kefir probiotics and yeast eat the lactose in milk so by the time I get it there is very little, if any.0
