"Refeed Day" is it a thing?
I've heard that having a day a week (ish) of eating at maintenance instead of a deficit will alter your metabolism slightly, causing you to burn more calories overall for the next week (ish).... Tru or not?

Doc called me a badass...
For losing 65lbs in 5 months and going from high blood pressure to normal. Interviewed me for like 20 minutes he can tell all his other patients some of my tips, and yes, I pimped out MFP as my weight loss bible...Riding high on success today.

Adderall - To do or Not to do
Have you taken it, whats your opinion? I know it's not specifically a weight loss topic but I hear that's a side effect...not why I'm considering trying it btw.. I was hoping it would help me feel more enthusiastic about my hobbies, kinda just been wandering around the house on my days off, so that's the motivation.

Coffee instead of water??
I live in in mountain town, and it's gotten cold already. As such I've been drinking far more coffee, and consequently less water (sometimes none). The coffee is 1creamer/1splenda per so the calories are fine but otherwise..opinions?

"Average Calories per Day" stat - is this a thing?
I often take all my calories consumed for a certain time period and average them out (some days I eat 1k cals, some days I eat 3k, it's just how my life goes)...but I'm getting tired of manually doing it, is there a stats page I don't know about??

Alaskan Vacation/Water Weight loss
Soooo..I gained over 5lbs through a week of vacation. I was pretty surprised considering I thought that I'd been eating reasonably while away. Rotisserie Chicken
Why is it high in calories compared to other chicken cuts? For instance, 6oz of "Rotisserie Chicken" is 340cals, vs 10oz of "Thigh - Grilled" being 340cals...What makes Rotisserie Chicken more cals than thigh meat??

1 week Alaskan vacation + Not logging = 5lb gain
Lol! Before and after we're both in the morning after shower so l think it's accurate...wonder how much of that was water weight... no worries tho, back on track today.

Currently on holiday in alaska..it's epic..and I'm just not logging..I think I'll be fine. Let's see if I gain weight over a week.

60lbs down...Hell yeah!
Just felt like sharing! Also with minimal exercise. Not that I'm bragging about not exercising, nor do i suggest it..but it can be done through diet alone!

Eating just once a day
Do you ever do this? I didn't eat today (was busy at work), and now I've just ordered about 1800cals at chillis (shrimp fajitas and cookie/icecream dessert).this will probably be all I eat today, and I don't even feel bad about it.

I know it's been said a million times but..I'm a guy in my 20s and the amount of hell I take from friends when I don't drink with them is rough..so I drink, not often, but a lot..and I also eat when I drink.. Just sharing for those in a similar boat.

Days off are rough, anyone else?
I do IF, where I try not to eat until like 3-4pm, then I eat my calories in 2 large meals/snacks. The days that I work 6-4pm, this is easy. At work I'm moving around and hanging out with friends and I barely think about food. On days off, I'm usually at my pc, enjoying my free time, but my mind starts to slightly obsess…

Just ate one and then was pretty and stoked when I saw how many cals they were..I expected 400ish!

Black coffee
I've been drinking a lot more coffee lately, and I don't care about the calories, but for simplicity in logging and whatnot I've been considering switching to just black coffee. Question is, do most people aquire the taste relatively quickly? If not I'll probably stick with 1creamer/1splenda per.

Mashed Potatoes are bad news!
Kinda...I just decided to take my potatoes and instead of quarter and bake them, like I typically do and totally enjoy...and turn them into mashed potatoes, which I also totally love. My fav "diet" meal
8oz chicken thigh, a bag of microwave veggies, white rice and a serving of ranch dressing for taste...700 calories of awesome, and that's a huge plate, btw.

A co worker made me this, and I ate/loved all of it...ball park calorie count? Didn't dip it in the sauce at all. It's fried boneless chicken breast and mac&cheese, no idea on the weights tho :P

2390 to lose 2lbs/week seems WAY too high...imo
So 2390 is what mfp set for me, but I've decided to keep it around 1200.
