Soooo..I gained over 5lbs through a week of vacation. I was pretty surprised considering I thought that I'd been eating reasonably while away. However in 3 days off extra water, more bananas (I dont actually know if this helps but whatever), and less than 1000mg of sodium a day, I've gotten back down to below 277, so that's nice!

Well done. Definitely some water weight, eating at a high enough surplus in a week to having 5lbs would be ridiculous.

Why such a low sodium intake? Just to lose water weight? I don't see the point, it's just water.

Umm..no good reason, I just don't enjoy having 3-5pounds of extra water weight throwing off my scale numbers.

    Good job! :)

Personally, if I ONLY gained 5lbs on my vacation, I'd consider it a success! I am known to 'put it away' on holidays! Heh!
