any other long term users for weight loss?
I've been on mfp since 2012. I'm still at "overweight" on the BMI. I'm still probably over 30% body fat. I've been lifting for 3 1/2 years. I doubt most people would think I even go to the gym. Nothing is changing with my current path, I'm not going to stop working out, I will continue to eat healthy (partly because I feel…

cut & maintain instead of bulk
Not sure I'd in right forum... But, I'm at an estimated 30% body fat. Majority on my stomach. Not sure how much is loose skin compared to fat- but my belly was definitely more saggy and baggy after my first child and it never was taut again. I've since had two more pregnancies with high weight gain. With my last kid it…

looking for a new plan {endurance}
In my deficit I am struggling to lift heavy, even way below my max. It's kinda depressing and it's causing pain (no major injuries, but I keep tweaking myself). So looking for something higher rep, lower weight even though it's not.my first love. Lol. And honestly, I'm bored and would like something new. Any suggestions?

newish fad, or recycled fad? re: sweat
Does sweating get the toxins/icky stuff out? My first thought is not enough to cause you to sweat more (I'm sure some of us have seen these gels and Vanna belt things on Instagram). Any sciencey things to say in response, since I just can't seem to bite my tongue?

is oly lifting for me given circumstances?
I'd love to get into olypmic lifting but here are my concerns: No coach (someday I'd like to go do a training weekend at the Olympic center about 5 hours away.) My gym doesn't have bumper plates. They don't even allow chalk. Could I, should I, still learn some of the basic lifts (I have started doing cleans)? If so, what…

is this hiit?
Does hiit have to be (for running)- a sprint followed by a rest? Could hiit be 4 minutes of increased intervals on the treadmill. Like: 5.0 mph, 5.5, 6, 6.5 and repeat until 20 minutes have elasped?

looking for friends like me
Female in my early 30s. 5'4" 163 pounds. Made goals of 10 pound increments: 160, 150, 140. 140 is my first major goal. I've never weighed that since I passed it when I was probably 14 or 15. Then I will reassess. I'm a sahm and homeschool mom. Looking for friends.

chafing?
I don't ever remember having chafing except for the last 3 summers (I've had a hard time sticking with weight loss). Even though I've weighed roughly this weight several times in the past. Has anyone managed to stop chafing as their weight has gone down? My problem areas are legs (which is why I normally wear pants) and…
