any other long term users for weight loss?

I've been on mfp since 2012.
I'm still at "overweight" on the BMI. I'm still probably over 30% body fat.
I've been lifting for 3 1/2 years. I doubt most people would think I even go to the gym.
Nothing is changing with my current path, I'm not going to stop working out, I will continue to eat healthy (partly because I feel like crap when I don't). I'm not going to gain the weight back.
I'm just tired and worn down.
Is there anyone else like me out there?

I've been here since November 2010, but am in maintenance and only log occasionally.
It sounds like you may have to tighten up your logging practices and review your calorie goal.
If you are maintaining your weight, or losing incredibly slowly, and you think you should be losing faster check all aspects of your intake including if your calories from exercise are too high.
If you are making no headway in your lifting programme anymore (not progressing in weight lifted) is it time to switch programmes?
Have you had a rest lately? If you have been in a deficit for a good few months it may be good to just have a couple of weeks at maintenance.
Do you have any medical problems? It may be time for a check up, and if you are taking medication have the dosage reviewed as your weight has changed.
Take a break, it sounds like you need it.

Thank you. I just took a break for about a month. I took off a good portion of 2016. I lost about 25 pounds earlier this year but then completely stalled and am now struggling to get into a big enough deficit to do anything.
I'd love to recomp but most of my body fat is in my belly and I'm not sure that would ever see a difference.
I know every one says the last few pounds (10?) are hard to lose but I imagine I have more to lose than that. I will take another break upcoming.0 -
Aaaaah most of my fat is on my belly too.
Start a recomp using a suitable programme from the list below, if you are not already following a good progressive, compound programme.
Read through the recomp thread too.
If you only have 10 to go, but are within a normal BMI range, try eating at maintenance and use the lifting calories as a small deficit. (If you are doing cardio eat those cals)
Do make sure your protein levels are good.
It is slow going, but worth it because your focus goes away from weight loss.
Here is my recomp belly. All the same weight. Keep in mind I am quite old, you could probably get much better results. It just illustrates the difference a recomp can make over time.
Cheers, h.

I'm still overweight, about 6 pounds above the tippy top of Healthy BMI. This is my stomach. I can't imagine recomping making a difference.
Maybe a different issue but if I am tracking my entire focus is on weight loss. As a short female, who loves to eat, I could blow my whole (maintenance) day with one meal I didn't think through or 1 meal out/invited over for (where I don't have complete control).
