chafing?

I don't ever remember having chafing except for the last 3 summers (I've had a hard time sticking with weight loss). Even though I've weighed roughly this weight several times in the past.

Has anyone managed to stop chafing as their weight has gone down? My problem areas are legs (which is why I normally wear pants) and front and back of my armpit area.

Yes, chafing will get better as you drop weight. I've always lovingly called it chub rub. Sounds like you're already doing the things I'd suggest anyway: Fitting clothes that prevent skin on skin (for me that used to mean box shorts), and getting fit in general. :)

I use Vaseline on problem areas when I exercise. It's usually the inside of my thighs and armpits for me.

My inner thighs chafe when I walk if I'm wearing shorts or a bathing suit and I'm up in weight. Non- issue for skinny Sarah.

I forgot what it's called but I've found it by the running shoes at sports stores. I think it's called body glide? Anyways, I chafe under my sports bra sometimes if it's really hot and this stuff is like a deodorant thing that you rub on before your run. It's a life saver! Until the chafing stops I would recommend it :)

I use just deodorant on my rubbed chub areas. If I miss an area, I just hit it with aloe vera before I go to bed, and the next day everything is healed. Aloe really is miraculous!
