Single serving of snacks vs full size.
I found that instead of buying a full bag of chips for example I buy the single serving bags, yes it cost more but really helps me with not over eating. Does anyone else do this or do I need to work on will power? :(

Is it harder to lose weight once you gained it back?
I recently got off my diet/exercise plan and gained weight back. I am now ready to jump back in. My question is since I lost a lot of weight and gained weight back will it be harder to lose that weight or the same as it was before if I am doing the same exact routine?

How do you get over this mindset?
Trying to get some advice on this mindset I'm having. It takes me 1 hour to exercise (burn about 300 calories) and takes me minutes to eat all those calories back. Is this in the back of everyone's mind or is it just me?

Is it ok to eat back your "unused" calories all in 1 day?
I keep a spreadsheet of how many calories I consume everyday. Any calories I don't eat for my 1,500 daily limit throughout the week I add those into my "cheat meal" on Friday. Is this ok to do or am I causing myself to be malnutritioned?

Whats the most accurate way to track calories burned during walking?
I walk a trail that isn't just flat it has slight hills etc, is there a watch or app that can track burned calories (more) accurately?

What can I do to get over losing 1 pound a month?
I am about 25 pounds away from my goal. But for the past months I have only been dropping 1 pound or so a month with the same calories (1,500) and exercising (walking 12 miles/week). Is this normal as I am getting closer to my goal weight or do I need to make a change, maybe increase activity etc? ANY advice is welcome.

How do you mentally reset when you feel you're losing track?
I am losing a good amount of weight with diet+exercising. After becoming comfortable knowing I can lose weight it feels I am getting more lazy now. Does this happen to everyone and how did you reset yourself to get that motivation back as when you first started?

Can I eat back the calories I didn't eat throughout the week?
Seems everyday I have calories left over. If I total those up and eat them back on my "cheat day" would that be ok/safe?

When is it safe to lower your calories?
I am currently at 1,500 calories a day but weight loss has slowed down as I get closer to my goal. Is it safe to lower my calories to 1,200 or day or should I let MFP determine what is best?

How hard was it for you to get to your goal when you started to get close?
I am about 20 pounds away from my goal but things are really slowing down. This month I only lost 1 pound, not to worried about that as long as I am not gaining weight. Is this normal for everyone? I am in no rush but I would like to lose at least 3-5 pounds a month so I can reach my goal before the year ends. Any advice?

What's the best way to count the calories for "cooked rice"?
I eat rice with almost every meal (2 oz), I see that all calorie counts for cooked rice are different though I put the same weight. Any idea how I can determine what is the most accurate?

I bought https://www.target.com/p/high-capacity-digital-scale-white-black-taylor/-/A-50281738 which I see is not very accurate, I put 10 pound weights on it and it comes out as 9.8 pounds, you cannot calibrate the scale either. Loosing weight but not as much as before.
I been doing the eating the same amount of calories (1,500) and doing the same amount of exercises consistently for the past 8 months (walking 1hour/3miles 4-5 times a week). How many times can you hit a plateau?
I know during weightloss everyone hits a plateau at some point, but does this happen numerous times throughout the process or just once? Can't seem to find an answer from Google search.

Is it ok not to eat back your "work out" calories?
My only exercise for the day is walking for 1 hour, which is about 200-300 calories burned. Since this amount is low can I just not log it or will that make my calorie intake(?) too low for the day?

How much of a gap do you leave for calories?
Obviously you can't get an exact count for daily consumed calories, I was curious if it's normal to leave a gap in calorie count. So for example if my max calories is 1,500 I'll just eat up to 1,200 in case of error.

Do you weight food even when the serving size is stated?
I can understand weighing vegetables or pasta etc but if the serving size is stated like "4 pieces per serving" do you weigh to get a more accurate calories count?

Losing weight quicker than usual
Usually I lose around 3-4 pounds monthly, this month I lost 1.5 pounds in just 5 days. I recently added weights (just arms) 2 weeks ago and been trying to drink a lot more water. Food Scale Question
Today is my first day using my food scale :) I weigh my rice which was 4.4 oz, when I went to enter it into MFP I noticed there is no measurement for dry oz only fluid oz. Do I just use another measurement and convert it or am I missing something here?

Let’s say I ate 3500 calories today and my BMR is 1900. Would I need to consume 1600 (3500-1900) more calories to gain a pound?

Curious if anyone has lost 8-10 pounds monthly? I put my setting to lose 2 pounds weekly but at the end of the month the most I lose is 5ish. Is this just me or does 8-10 pounds seems really hard to do?
