What scale do you recommend?

I bought https://www.target.com/p/high-capacity-digital-scale-white-black-taylor/-/A-50281738 which I see is not very accurate, I put 10 pound weights on it and it comes out as 9.8 pounds, you cannot calibrate the scale either. If you step off the scale and go back on the weight is different sometimes.

Any suggestions on a reliable scale?

If you want the most dead-accurate scale, it's defnitely the Tanita HD351

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000U6F2M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is as accurate as a doctor's $5,000 scale, which incidentally Tanita probably made. They have a consumer line but their main business is medical.

No money wasted on Internet apps, body fat percentages, heart monitoring, bluetooth, or making you a pizza. This scale does one thing: tell you how much you weigh. It does that well and consistently with no margin of error, regardless of humidity, floor surface, angle you stand on it, or anything else. A dumbbell test using different dumbells to mix things up will easily demonstrate that the Tanita is never off by even 0.2 of a pound.

You get what you pay for.
