Insane how such a MAJOR feature does not get fixed immediately or within a day at least.

Thanks guys! glad it's not just me. :#

Thanks guys. I ask this question because I know it's really easy to gain weight back after losing it due to metabolism change(?). Was just curious on this matter.

WW meaning Weight Watchers?

2 lbs per week. I am close to my goal weight so I lose no where close to that anymore. Most days I am off by 100-200 because my sleep schedule is so messed up, I miss lunch almost every day.
-
Fell off track past couple of months and gained some pounds. Dedicating myself to lose those pounds by the end of the year.
-
Mixture of being my heaviest weight and starting to get sleep apnea. Now I am lightest I been in 7+ years and sleep apnea is completely gone.
-
I am in the same position and almost same starting weight and current weight. I have been at same weight for months with same diet and exercise. I know stress can affect weight loss and I'm sure a lot of people right now are really stressed, keep this in mind as well.
-
Just to clarify, the closer to you are normal BMI the slower it comes off.
-
How close are you to your goal? The less weight you have to lose the slower it comes off.

I been to physical therapy a few times for ankle injuries (used to skateboard). I suggest trying out the exercises used in physical therapy. These are pretty much the ones I did - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwUF_cc4w-c I also suggest getting a resistance band and doing ankle resistance exercises. Main thing is getting…
-
You are normal BMI.. if you want to lose weight around any part of your body you just need to exercise that area.
-
I used to last month, tried not to do this but still same exact results.

My calories for the day never change even when updating my weight, I'm guessing 1,500 is the lowest you can go for a male?. I am doing everything I did before which is weighing with a scale and logging everything.
-
Exactly what I'm doing now! :) Wow, no idea this was a feature. Thanks.

You are suppose to eat back the calories. Many people refer to this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67USKg3w_E4

I stay on track with calories but exercise is pretty much non existent these days.

Homepage of app, click "More" (the 3 dots on the bottom of app) the to to "Goals" under "Nutrition Goals" you can change your calories
-
Yes, but if you search the MFP database for "cooked rice" for example every single result gives you a different calorie count for the same weight.

I'm at 1500 calories. At first it comes of very fast then slows down, I'm at about 3-4 pounds a month now. The first month I lost 15 pounds. Of course I could probably change somethings but I am in no rush as I will hit my goal before the year ends which is fine by me.
-
I am about 40 pounds from normal weight. How long does a "diet break" is recommend? I usually lose about 5 pounds a month, now I am losing around 2.5 pounds with a 500 calorie deficit and exercise.
-
I weigh-in every 4 or so days. If I eat a lot of sodium, I wait a week before weighing myself because the water weight will throw me off mentally.
-
2 weeks of around the same weight with a 500 calorie deficit. My goal is to lose 40 more pounds.

Calories burned are estimates. If I walk 1 hour on the treadmill with the settings I always use it reads 370ish calories burned, when I walk at my local park using MapMyWalk calories burned is 330ish so I am lowballing that number.
-
Just an update, I took a few days off and just ate up to my maintenance calories (sometimes over ;) ) I feel that was enough to reset myself and get back into the swing of things. Thanks everyone :)

I'm very new to the snowy weather so going outside during that time is brutal for me (sunny state to a very snowy cold one recently)
-
I'm a big fan of getting fiber from fruits: apples, mandarin oranges etc.
-
Basically any food that is considered "junk food" though I am more of a savory type person than sweets.
-
I use my calendar to motivate me, I put it right above my desk so I see it all the time. I mark everyday I do what I am suppose to exercise/eating-wise. I am pretty "OCD" when I see inconsistencies in something so it really helps me to make sure I do what I am suppose to everyday.

I'm way overshooting my burned calories using that formula :o
