Cooking Yourself Thin
Has anyone heard of that new show starting called Cooking Yourself Thin? I saw a commercial for it the other day. I think it premiers on Monday on Lifetime. It is on here at 4:00 p.m (I am in Central Time Zone). It is supposed to be a cooking show, but they show you how to cook things with less calories and fat. It seems…

Ground Beef
I was wondering: if I buy 80/20 ground beef instead of the leaner stuff, and after I brown it I drain it and rinse it, will it be just as lean as the other stuff? I am on a budget and the 80/20 ground beef is so much cheaper.

Finally
I finally broke the 190 mark. I hit 189 today. My goal was 190 by the end of March, but that didn't happen. I am so proud of myself for not giving up when I didn't reach my goal. It took me 2 months to lose 10 pounds, but no matter how long it took I still lost it. Now I begin my next goal. Everyone on here is great!…

Brownies
My husband and son asked me to make brownies for them, so I did. I actually made them and didn't lick the spoon, bowl, or even my finger. I am so proud that my will power prevailed. Now I hope my will power is strong enough to keep me from actually eating a brownie.

Jimmy John's
So, the people at my work were ordering Jimmy John's and so I went online to check out their nutritional information. They have a really good one. You can choose any sandwich and it will tell how many calories, fat, etc. You can even add ingredients or take some off and it changes the nutritional facts. Anyway, I like the…

Wii Fit
I just did the Wii Fit for 45 minutes. I don't have a heart rate monitor, so how do I log the calories burned. I did mostly the balance games and then 10 minutes of the advanced step-aerobics. I was definitely sweating by the end. Any suggestions how to log it in my daily exercise? Thanks.

Panera Strawberry Granola Parfait
I went to Panera with a friend today, and saw this Strawberry Granola Parfait and thought it would be a healthy snack option. So I bought it at almost $4. When I got back to work to log it into my food diary I found out it is 310 calories and 41 g of carbs. I was very disappointed at how many calories this is. I like for…
