My kids LOVE choc chip pancakes but I want them to have something that is more nutritious and filling. Any ideas on ways to improve? Scratch recipes dont scare me, but at the moment I have just been using an offbrand pancake mix.

Ok so I have embarked on my wieght loss journey once again. I NEED to be healthy! I have realized that this is a change I want not only me but for my family as well! I want to completely restock my pantry and take out the bad and replace with good. My question "where do I start?" I need some help!!

brown rice question
I really want to make some brown rice with my main dish tonight but the last time i tried it the rice took FOREVER to cook and was very mushy and clumpy can anyone help??

body pump
I go to a class called body pump. high reps of weights at a fast past , anyway I'm not sure how to log this any suggestions. I know it has to have some cardio but i don' t own a hrm and don't see one in my future :( any suggestions? And why doesn't my weight trainging count on my workout goals???

Ok so I thought I was doing good on my workouts just a little sore...ok A LOT sore but thought it was bc I haven't worked out in soooo long. Turns out I have shin splints. Are there any workouts I can do without dying? I don't want to slack off and then just stop. :frown: Any suggestions???
