WHEAT FREE FRIENDS
Hello All, I recently started reading Wheat Belly which was written by a physician explaining the impact of the modern genetically mutated form of wheat on our health and bodies. For as long as I can remember (I am 23, so not THAT long), I have had digestive issues. Most doctors say it is IBS and to try this and that and…

Any brides try to lose?!
I have been on MFP for a while now and mostly use it to just stay aware of my eating habits so I don't get too out of control! However, I am getting married in 12 weeks and would LOVE to lose 8-10 pounds by then. I am working out twice a week with a personal trainer and doing another day of cardio by myself (I know I need…

Baking for friends who are not primal/paleo/wheat-free
Hello all. I recently decided to go wheat-free to see if it helps with major digestive issues I have (after two weeks, so far so good). Anyways, on Thursday mornings, my lab has meetings and we rotate bringing breakfast or a treat in each week. We just started these meetings last week and of course my boss brought in…

FitBit---is it worth the money?
I have heard about the FitBit through a few threads on here and did some research on it. It seems like a nice tool and a good way to become more motivated, but it is kind of expensive. Anyone on here have one and highly recommend it or have an opinion on the FitBit at all? Thanks!

Chiptole!
I love Chipotle and I know it can be healthy-friendly if you get the right things. My problem is knowing how to calculate out the calories since I'm not measuring the ingredients myself. The website has nutrition information for their "serving size" but I'm not sure how much they are actually putting in the bowl and if…

Discouraged by the scale today :\
Two days ago, I weighed myself when I woke up and was very excited that I had lost 2.5 pounds since the last time I weighed in (about 4 days prior). I knew it was water weight because I had finally gone to the bathroom :blushing: but I was excited to lose some of the bloating that had been pestering me. This morning I…

Hello! I already posted this once but realized it was under the wrong Topic, so I am trying this again! On June 16th I will be attending a close friend's wedding and have already purchased a very tight white lace dress. Unfortunately, I looked at the calendar and noticed that it will be the end of my TOM (of course) that…

Need TOM diet advice from women!
Hello! On June 16th I will be attending a close friend's wedding and have already purchased a very tight white lace dress. Unfortunately, I looked at the calendar and noticed that it will be my TOM (of course) that weekend and I tend to hold at least an extra 5-7 pounds of water weight during that time. I've decided that…

New ideas for packing lunches...
Hey everyone! I usually try packing my lunches so I can monitor what I am eating and save money at the same time! I'll let myself have 1 frozen Weight Watchers meal a week (they are very high in sodium and I tend to retain water very easily). Once a week I also buy a salad at my work's cafeteria. Recently, I've been at a…
