Hi I'm Jacole and I had RNY about 3 weeks ago, and I'm feeling much better than I did the first 2 weeks! I've lost 40.6 lbs so far. Hope I can contribute to the group and find new post op friends!

The dreaded scale...
How often do you weigh in? Daily, weekly, monthly? It's always so different from person to person. I was doing daily, but I'm thinking I'll try every few days.

2 week update!!
Well, I have been "eating to lose" for 2 weeks now, and I'm happy to report that it busted my plateau and I've lost 4 lbs bringing my total to 78 lbs!! I've been preaching this new mentality to everyone who will listen! YAY!! :)

I have been offered the job of a lifetime, but it requires that I pass a physical fitness test that I must continue to pass every 6 months. I started the 30 DS today, and I gotta say I loved it. I was sweating pretty hard by the time I was finished! Ground Turkey and Black Bean Tacos (Pic)
I made these tacos tonight and they were AMAZING!! I love mexican food, so I'm constantly on the hunt for healthy ways to eat it. Subway mustard...wtf
Yellow mustard has ZERO cals...a healthier alternative to mayo and what not. BUT, when you add Subway's mustard to a turkey sandwich, it adds 10 cals....wtf? Is there mustard special or something? Just wondering LOL......
