Ugh...blew that lunch
I just ate 2, that's right 2 pb &j sandwiches for lunch instead of my planned chicken steak! I absolutely cannot have pb in the house anymore. It is really hard not to do that, because my daughter loves pb & j sandwiches, and it's what I use to stuff my dogs' with when I go somewhere!

Big weight gains after moderate amount of non-paleo foods??
Has anyone else found this to be an issue? I have found that if I eat non-Paleo anytime before dinner, I feel REALLY lousy. However, if I eat it after that, I am ok. However, I found that even if I am eating moderate amounts of non-Paleo foods, I am gaining quite a bit of weight very quickly. Not good, obviously.....

Learned an important lesson today - beer is evil!
After having a few drinks out with my hubby, cravings for sweets and carbs came back with a MAJOR vengeance. I tried to satisfy it with blueberries, almonds, even pepperoni, but ended up heading for pop tarts (UGH)! If I imbibe again, it will be on red wine or NORCAL margaritas. I never had cravings like that from wine.

Day 3-ever so tired, yet can't sleep well!
Is this normal? I've heard of everyone having so much energy, but I am not feeling it yet! I keep getting 2 or 3 slumps during the day, where I could fall right asleep. But then when I lay down for bed, it takes me longer to fall asleep, and then I'm up at like 4 am and can't fall back asleep!

HOw to get out of the I'll start tomorrow mentality
Ugh....how do you guys get out and stay out of this mentality. I can do somewhat well for a few days, then have one slip up and go into the "I'll start again tomorrow....or worse yet, on Monday, or next month" thinking. Then, of course, before "tomorrow or Monday" I go crazy until then! How do you avoid this??
