Should I start Inanity?
I am in pretty good shape. I work out everyday at the gym or DVD circuit training, but I want something new. Thinking about starting Insanity but I am in my 50's and might be too old to start that. Any thoughts?

Michelle's Peak 10 Cardio Strenght
Just recently received this dvd and I have used it twice. I love it! I am in pretty good shape and regularly exercise so I really wasn't expecting this workout to be that challenging. Boy, was I wrong! Despite all of my exercising, my heartrate really goes up with this. It was what I needed because some of my dvds were…

A New Year and New Me
Okay, we all know about New Year resolutions. I make them and then, while the words still hang in the air like bubbles, my best intentions crumble like the wedge of chocolate cake I just crammed in my mouth. So, the only resolution I will make this year is to treat myself and others with love and respect. I will enjoy the…

The Firm: Calorie Explosion dvd
I give this dvd a passing grade! I have done it twice and really enjoy it. In addition to a warm-up and a cool-down, the circuit training routines are divided into four 12- minute sections (Kick-Butt Athletic Drills, Explosive Power Moves, Cardio Kickboxing, and High-Intensity Moves). Again, you can adjust the the level of…

HRM Polar F6
Okay, I am contemplating buying a Polar F^ heart rate monitor. However, when investigated this I noticed that there is a Polar F6 HRM and a Polar F6 HRM watch. Which should I get? Don't they do the same thing, but pne requires a strap. While I enjoy exercising Idont know that I would consider myself a hard core athkete so…

Stephanie Vittarino Ultimate Body Shaper dvd
I've been using this dvd for awhie and it's one of my favorites. It consists of two 30 minute workouts, plus a five minute warmup and five minute cool down. The first workout uses a high step, but you don't need one (though it does add to the intensity). The second is a mat workout and it's all done either standing or…

10 minute solution ultimate boot camp
I just did this dvd today and I give it a passing grade. Basically, the dvd consists of five 10-minute routines (fat fighting drills, ultimate upper body, ultimate lower body, ultimate total body, and six pack abs). You can do either a 10 minute routine, combine several of them, or do all of them. I did the entire dvd…

Insurance Reimbursement
Something to consider: if you join a gym, check with your insurance company. Many insurance companies will offer a reimbursement or rebate if you attend a gym so many times a year. Mine is 120 visists a year which the staff at the gym will verify. You can receive up to $150 back if you follow through. Money back--that's an…

core cardio circuit by Cathe Friedrich
Did this dvd for the first time today, and I love it. She is about as tough as Jillian. I like the fact that thedvd is suitable for all levels because you can modify it by either elevating or lowering your movementsw. No equipment is need, another plus. Her movements are not complicated but intense. The most complicated…

Bob Harper's new weight lifting DVD
Anyone try this? I have done it twice and heree are my comments: First, I take exception to Bob's comment that you can do this tape every day. I'm not sure one should lift heavy weights every day because muscles need time to repair. I suppose if you used light weights throughout the dvd, maybe it could be done everyday. I…
