Any volleyball players here?
I only started this year, after being a basketball girl for ten years, and I'm loving it! I have practice about five times a week, and by the burn the day after I know it is also quite a workout... I am the newest on my team, but being the tallest (5"11) I know I could help my team win, but I'm just not good enough yet...…

Those annoying last inches
Well, this isn't my first time here. I joined about a year ago, did pretty well and almost got to where I wanted, but then I got lazy- I started working out even more (two hour volleyball practice 4 times a week), but stopped logging, and started eating bad, because I felt it was OK because I work out so much. Since the…

What do you do with home cooked meals?
(except for eating them) What do you do when you eat at a friends/family house? You never knew what exactly is in it (and you can't ask for the recipe of everything), and how do you log it, or make sure that it goes with your calories for the day?

Need some new friends :)
So, I joined MFP a year ago, and I am so thankful I did. I lost only ten pounds, but I finally felt good in my body, which never happened since I was 10. Everything was great, so because of a busy schedule and curiosity I stopped logging, and mostly maintained, except for 4 pounds. However, lately I've been back to eating…

Does EM2WL work even without heavy lifting?
I know the benefits of heavy lifting, but it's not an option for me, and every one I see here lifts, so I was wondering- will this still work for me?

The worst feeling ever...
So, a few days ago one of my friends posted a not so flattering picture of me on Facebook... I deleted it, even though it stayed in my mind because I thought I was looking pretty good and then to see that... (however, I am trying to jump forward in that picture, so I know it is not the best position). So, yesterday I was…

What to do with chicken breast?
So, I just got a lot of chicken breat (schnitzel), and I need to make it soon. How should I make it so it will taste good but not add too much calories? I'm making it in an electric pan (doesn't use oil!). Also, I keep kosher, so I can't use yogurt/cheese. Any ideas?

Lost my motivation...
So, I've been doing really well for a while, logging every day, working out 4-5 times a week, doing some tonig workout and eating healthy, which all helped me lose 11 pounds. Then I went camping for three weeks, didn't log, and now I just keep falling off the wagon. I'm in vacation, so I'm super lazy, I eat junk all day…

Am I not eating enough calories?
I'm weigh 155 pounds, and by MFP my BMR is 1,563 calories/day. Setting to lose a pound and a half a week, the net calories given to me by the site is 1200. Now, I see a lot of posts hating on that number, saying that it counts starving yourself and the wrong way to lose weight (and a lot of "I won't friend you if you eat…

Should I up my calories?
So, MFP put me on a 1210 calories diet, and I have no problem at keeping to that number, I'm never starving and eat everything I did before, just at smaller amount and minus the huge amount of sweets (thanks mfp for helping with that!) The thing is, I havn't seen much progress. a lot of people at this site have been…

My little success
I know this is nothing, compering to the people who lost 100 pounds, but I saw this and really wanted to share it. I started at the beginning of april, and the second picture is from today. I was also very happy about this because two weeks ago I took a picture and saw no difference, until someone here pointed out that I…

Where do I measure my hips?
I want to check my body fat %, but I don't understand where to mesure? Some say at the butt and some at the hip bones, so where should it be?

Can you see a difference?
Well, I started MFP a month ago, and I wasn't expecting to be all fit in a month, but I started feeling much better in my body. I would look at it and say "hey, when did the belly bump get smaller?!", and I didn't weigh myself (after weighing every day I decided I'm taking a month break), but I did feel progress. So, I…

Is it bad to eat too much protin and not enough carbs?
Basically, I noticed that almost every day I meet my calorie goals just fine, but I eat too much protin and not enough carbs and fat. Is this bad for weight loss?

What will give me better results?
I want to start losing weight for the summer, and do some toning up. I have a list of moves (arms, legs, butt, abs) and about four moves for each part. The list suggests each workout you do all the moves for one body part, three times a week (each day a different part). I was just wondering if that makes sense, or should I…
