Lost my motivation...

So, I've been doing really well for a while, logging every day, working out 4-5 times a week, doing some tonig workout and eating healthy, which all helped me lose 11 pounds.
Then I went camping for three weeks, didn't log, and now I just keep falling off the wagon. I'm in vacation, so I'm super lazy, I eat junk all day and I don't workout, and I hate it! Every day I tell myself that I need to get on track, because I'm the only one that can do this for myself, but I just don't...
Please help me, I want to get rid of the last 5-10 pounds, eat better and go back to working out (and maybe even running, which I hate), and I need friends that will motivate me and will scold me when I don't log, can you help me? :flowerforyou:

I am in the same boat as you. It is had to stay motivated, but it is so important to stay on track! It sounds like when you do commit to MFP you do excellent, so why not keep going. Just think, if you start today in a month from now you will be so proud of yourself! Let's start today and be happy rather than continue to not track and exercise and continue to feel down about it. I would be glad to cheer you on and remind you to keep going when you don't, let's motivate each other! Request sent!

im in a prediabetes class, and one of the other members quoted a saying that "the next meal is a fresh start"...you dont need to wait til monday to start fresh, start now..it is hard to stay on track, it feels like starting all over again, but its worth it. you can do it!

I am in a similar situation. My camping trip was a wonderful little break - and even though I didn't log I tried to make good decisions in regards to eating. I allowed myself to have sweets which is super rare, and I even went on a run 2/4 days of the trip and walked a bunch. Now that I am back however, I can't seem to find that motivation I need to keep on truckin'. It doesn't help that I haven't seen the results I would like to have seen with Insanity.

Regardless I will keep pushing through it...because being healthy and getting in better shape is important to me whether or not I am seeing results, and I know quitting will make me feel like ****. If you don't find the motivation some how you will fall off the wagon, and no one but you can find a way to make it work.

been there too. I took off the whole month of July. I just got tired and lazy. About 3 weeks into not exercising my back started to hurt, I was sleepy all the time, and had no energy. I had stopped logging and when I did that , I stopped caring about what I ate. I started doing some soul searching and realized that I had set a goal for June and I met that goal and since then I was just wondering along. I believe that is why I stopped logging and working out. So I picked myself up and set a new goal. I want to loose another 10 lbs by the end of October. That is our other vacation. I want to be in a size 10.

I started logging again and went back to boot camp this morning. I dont know if this will work for you, but it did for me.
